I suffer from keratosis pilaris especially on my upper arms and thighs, and I massively struggle to find a suncream that doesn’t make it worse ie. block my pores more. I’ve avoided the usual ‘white’ suncream as this does make my condition worse, so I discovered a natural oil product from Australia which didn’t affect my skin, but it was quite expensive. I wanted to find a product that was lightweight on my skin but gave me some protection. I love this product as it’s an oil but it’s a dry oil. It’s not irritated my condition, or my psoriasis and eczema, and if anything it’s made my condition better!! I have sensitive skin and it’s not irritating at all, and it’s actually giving me a great tan too which I’m shocked at because whilst I’m a natural redhead I do tan, but it takes me forever to go brown and I find with other suncream I don’t go brown at all! This gives me just the right amount of protection but gives me a great tan too! As an added bonus it smells lush!! I’ve had a few comments from people when I’ve bern wearing it whilst out and about how lovely it smells. I’ve been using the coconut after sun body butter too from the same range and that’s lovely too!

Lovely product definitely one for the suitcase destined for the sun sea and sand. Bottle looks premium with its colour and design. Easy to use spray. Comes out as a light refreshing spray. Glides over the skin making it silky soft smelling of coconut. Moisturising it as well as protecting it. Easily absorbed. A little bit oilier than I anticipated but just means you need to put on less or massage it in further. My skin glistened and looked beautiful once I applied it. Stayed on well even after I had been the water as it is waterproof. Lasted all day so very durable. I definitely would recommend it.

Compared to Malibu dry spray I found this was quite oily. You could tell if I had jumped in the pool, compared to the other friends with us, it left a surprisingly large film over the top of the water. Nothing nasty, but I didnt find this to be nearly as much the case with either the other dry spray oil I just mentioned, or other suncreams. It felt oilier on the skin than others too. That said, smelled great and did the job.

I first discovered Hawaiian tropics on a holiday to Florida and used it whilst I was there. I have very fair skin that burns easily and hardly ever tans. Unfortunately this sun cream is hard to get hold of in the uk or it is about £15.I bought this and used it on a recent holiday to Spain which was 35 degrees centigrade every day. And did not burn at all, I actually tanned quite well and we only went for one week. The product smells amazing and isn't too greasy. I recommend placing it in the shade when you're not using it as it turns quite gloppy n white in the sun, which makes it harder to spray.
