Caught Up: Into Darkness Trilogy (Into Darkness Series) Paperback – June 10, 2025

Coming from a “spicy worker”, this was WONDERFUL. I loved seeing my line of work talked about and mentioned in a positive light for once. I loved seeing Lauren’s support system, and I loved seeing that she was confident and fearless. Of course the rest of the plot was wonderful and I can’t wait for the next installment (whenever that may come). Thank you Navessa Allen for making me feel seen and for giving all of us this amazing work of art

Lights Out was one of my top reads of 2024 and I own like 10 copies of it, no joke. So of course I immediately dove in!The chemistry and tension in this book was next level. I love a man obsessed and Nico quietly stalked Lauren for years before casually walking back into her life hoping to win her over. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her and I loved that energy.Lauren stirred up so many emotions in me. I loved her determination and resilience but found her to be a bit too brash and reckless at times. I also loved that she took pride in her work and dedicated her life making SW safer for herself and others.As expected the spice in this book was amazing. Don’t ask me how Navessa managed to make this the spiciest slow burn ever, but somehow she did.The vibes of this book are so different from LO. I knew going into it that Nico was in the mafia and anticipated a darker book. But I was still expecting a dark romcom and that’s not what this book is, it is just a dark romance. I mean there were a couple funny scenes and Josh can’t help being ridiculous anytime he shows up but I still don’t think of this as a dark romcom.Now don’t get me wrong, this was an amazing dark romance. I just think I would have enjoyed it even more if I had better expectations going in.That being said I am still so excited for the third book in this series. I can’t wait to see what Navessa has in store for us next!

Modern Dark romance Romeo and Juliet vibes/ second chance romance. I loved the chemistry between these two main characters. HOT! Their obsession for one another makes the read fun. How Lauren owned her sexuality after everything went down is probably my favorite part of the entire book. Her confidence alone is sexy but add in knowing her body and what it and she likes and owning that makes her such a strong character and fun to read!

Arrived with damaged spine

What? OMG wasn’t expecting that but I loved the twists, totally though one thing but twisted into another, and have to say- good for her! I love that Aly and Josh are mentioned and oh if a book 3 for Tyler’s story I’m all for it! Super steamy, I mean a lot of steam which somewhat takes over the book, but still good and still a story to it.

Caught Up is such an amazing book. Funny, sad, spicy and a bunch of other words I could use if my brain wasn't still in shock that I finished the book already. I can't wait to continue to re read it like I do with the prequel.

Came in fast but the book look to be used ? It had creasing and the outside of the books edges were bent and it was supposed to be a new release

Truly, just when I thought this book couldn’t be any better, IT ENDS LIKE THAT?! I’m obsessed. I loved Nico and Lo, it was everything I’ve ever hoped for and I CANNOT wait for more of them.
