When my Krups XP6180 was nearing the end of its usability after about a decade of daily use, I was very happy to find Casabrews and their wide selection of expresso machines. Since I already had 2 excellent bean grinders, I was looking for a high-performance unit without a built-in grinder.The Casabrews Neutron Pro is an outstanding expresso machine for its performance, ease of cleaning/maintenance, appearance/build quality, customer support, and very excellent price point/value. Its programmability for extraction, hot water, and final milk temperatures is easy and gives it excellent versatility for the most demanding barista. This flexibility along with a preset hot water pre-infusion, digital indicators of brewing time/pressure and milk temperatures during frothing ensure consistently optimal results. A special kudo for the design of the steam wand tip which enables even the most inexperienced barista to produce perfectly frothed milk. The high-capacity water reservoir has a well-designed lid and gives easy access for filling and is also removal easy for cleaning. The solidly built unit is well-packed and comes with easy-to-understand & well-illustrated documentation/instructions. The exterior stainless-steel exterior allows easy cleaning. A special word about the outstanding customer support. I have reached out to them several times & their response is always quick and very helpful. I look forward to many years of excellent expresso beverages from this unit.

The Neutron Pro is a great Espresso machine that has great automation for a great user experience.

This is a update to our review. Machine has been working great and makes a very good latte. 5 days ago the steamer stopped working. Contacted Casabrew through the 800 number. They connected me to a tech who told me he would send a new unit which we received today. Disappointed the machine stopped working after 6 months but VERY impressed with the service and replacment of the unit.We have never owned a espresso machine so we cannot compare to other machines that is why only the 4 star rating.Have had for a week. Machine works well and makes very good espresso and lattes. Sine it has 2 boilers you can make your coffee at the same time you steam your milk. There is a learning curve with making your drink.

Have only had a couple of months and used a handful of times and the machine is overheating to the point you can't touch the surface where it's hot - and heating the attached portafilter to a very hot temperature. Certainly a safety issue. Submitted the issue with Casabrews but no response so far.

This review is geared towards the company, Casa Brews. When I received my espresso machine, I foolishly left the water tank on the edge of my counter and it fell and cracked (hadn’t even had a chance to use it yet). I checked the company’s website to see if they had a replacement tank I could purchase and there was not one listed, so I desperately emailed them to see if there was one I could purchase. They told me they would not be back in stock for a couple of months and offered to send me a whole new machine (free of charge). I have never encountered a company more considerate and quick to address my concern, especially in a situation where I was clearly at fault. Even though I have not yet had the opportunity to use the machine, I will never not recommend CasaBrews for their customer service. Hoping to update this review once I’ve tried out the espresso!

I love the machine! Easy to use, small, good espresso, and overall can't complain about it! Casabrew was even so kind as to give a free replacement when the steam pump broke. The new one has been working perfectly! I'm even considering getting a second one for my job!

This is a decent machine if you're new to espresso making. It functions similarly to Breville but at a much lower price point. Coming from various Breville, Gaggia and Rancilio espresso machines semi-automatic and fully automatic single boilers, I wanted something budget-friendly with dual boilers and 58mm baskets, as I already own several baskets in various sizes and other accessories.The first drawback is that you can't use other baskets, Casabrew has a unique design that prevents compatibility. Second, while you can adjust the brew and hot water temperatures, the brew temp falls well below the standard 195-205F range, hovering around 160-165F. As a result, the espresso is colder, and the crema suffers. Third, the frothing wand has limited movement, making it difficult to place the container under or removing without spilling. Additionally, the froth auto shutoff caps out at 150°F, further limiting its effectiveness.Final thoughts: If the temperature could be set to standard levels, the machine accepted standard espresso baskets, and the wand offered manual flexibility, this could be a great machine. Unfortunately, it’s not for me.
