It soaks up water on my porch, but it stinks after awhile. I moved it to dry in the sun, abd I'm hoping the smell goes away. I also use one in my shed bc water somehow gets in there despite my best efforts at waterproofing. It keeps things on the floor from getting wet.

This product does not work. It does not grow bigger when water comes so essentially it does nothing.

These are great for dry season when rain is not constantly coming down. If they get too saturated they stop working. They do work great thought to stop run off water coming from up the hill which lines to accumulate in front of my house. It’s a temp solution.

Work great

I have not used these yet. I ordered them to add to my emergency pack for flooding conditions that are all too inevitable on the Texas Gulf Coast. These are long enough to spread across doorways to fight off flooding waters. There are so many applications for these absorbers. I did not test as they are one-time use, so I can only attest that the exterior quality, the portability, and the ease of folding for storage purposes are perfect for my flood kit container.
