Good buy..actually works
I used this for a decent sized wart on my arm that I had previously used clippers to cut off several times. I really applied it and wasn't sensitive about it and it really worked. I think the trick is applying a decent amount of pressure and holding it down for a good count.

Doesn't work; can't return to Amazon; Company won't refund either
Since we I can't go to the doctor right now for non-essential treatment (pandemic/stay-in order), when I saw this product on Amazon, I thought it might be an easy fix. Before buying it, I noted the reviews of others saying that it did not work, but then there were other reviews saying it was the best. i was hoping it would work for me, not so! Here's what happened in my case. I bought the product for a common wart near the tip of the pad of my thumb. The doctor thought I got the wart virus through a cut on my thumb. When I applied it per the instructions, I noticed the tip of the product does not get cold enough to do anything to the wart...it didn't even hurt or sting when I placed it on regular skin. I expected it to feel something like dry ice, where I would be able to feel that it was extremely cold. It only felt slightly cold. And although you can use it for several treatments (I tried it twice: one time without help applying it and the second time I had my husband apply it), neither application caused the wart to change in any way. It did not change color ( I expected it to turn white) or to die and fall away. This product gets zero stars from me. It does not work as advertised. Perhaps it is defective, but the company (Compound W) will not own up to that. When I described it to them on the phone they said it is working fine. Although Amazon will ship the product to you, it is not eligible for return because of the pressurized can. Compound W will not take it back either. They reluctantly agreed to send me a coupon for another one, although they still didn't agree that the one I have is defective. (The Compound W representative was kind of cagey in the conversation...they didn't want to take any responsibility or offer medical advice. I felt it was a weird, unhelpful and defensive conversation, since I was only suggesting the product was defective and not asking for their medical advice.) But the coupon will take up to 8 weeks to receive and it will only be good for the Freeze Off product, not any of their other products. In my opinion, this is really bad customer service by both Amazon and Compound W for a product that doesn't work. Suggestion: If you want to try it (because it seems to work for some people), buy it from you local store/drug store, so you can return it them in person if it doesn't work.

Gets the roots out
Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from as I used it on some hard and easy warts w/o incident. I had some eraser sized (diameter) on my hand that took 2 applications over a couple of weeks. It will sting pretty good for a minute or two then the pain will abate. At the end of the 1st week the wart will look like a burn. I start picking at them by the 2nd week so there is a scab for the next 7-10 days until the entire wart comes off. If it doesn't get all the wart, hit it again and it will certainly get it all. I've used this stuff on moles and skin tags and it worked equally well. The good ones will leave a little crater in your flesh, giving you that satisfied feeling it got the roots and all! I would say I used the can 10-12 times and have order another can because at 50 yr old, it seems like my body is continually producing small warts on my hands, arms and face. Speaking of, I used it on some small skin tags on my face w/o any trouble at all. It just looks red like you've had a zit or something - no huge swollen red mound or anything. I bet if I was a chick w/o makeup, you wouldn't see anything.

The instructions could do a better job explaining what it looks like when the piece ...
I'm giving this a 3 star review for a couple of reasons. 1. Reapplication can only be done 2 weeks after initial treatment. Which means you need to wait a long time to see if it works. 2. It is not immediately clear if you applied the treatment correctly or if it's working. The instructions could do a better job explaining what it looks like when the piece is ready to use, what your wart should look like if the application was done properly... including a description of progress of what is should look like over time if treated properly. This can help you identify if your initial treatment was applied improperly (allowing you to not wait 2 weeks). I really have no idea if this is doing anything or not, there is no measure of success.

This works great on plantars warts IF you remove the callous right down to living tissue each time before you use it with a scalpel or other device. This lets you apply the frozen tip of the device directly to the live roots of the wart. Otherwise the wart tissue is insulated under a thick layer of dead skin and you will waste your time and money. The directions say to soak the area for a few minutes. This is presumably because hydrated tissue freezes better than dry skin, but we didn't need to do that because we removed the dry callous completely. Yup, it hurts a bit, but your doctor is going to do the same thing via several trips to his/her office. Have a bandaid ready with triple antibiotic ointment plus pain reliever to apply to the area and the pain will only last a couple of minutes. (plus, if the wart is on the bottom of your foot its not a bad idea to keep an open wound covered for a day or two, right?) We found that we got a better freeze if we charged the tip for 4 seconds rather than 3. One bottle kills about 1 wart by treating it every 3rd day. Great stuff!

Worst purchase I made from Amazon.
Does not work at all. I would not purchase this product. Works about as well as putting a small Nail in the freezer to freeze your wart and hope it works.

Very weak...hardly a freezing.
OK...very expensive. When I use it, there is very little freezing feeling. When the dermatologist, does it, a couple of seconds of spray is almost painful it is so cold. After 4 applications on two warts I see just a little whitening. I doubt that it will work. Pay the deductible or tge co pay...go see the dermatologist.

Works well once you get the hang of it.
It does burn into the skin as advertised but on your foot - it doesn’t take it off in one go. No way!

Do Not Buy!
Doesn't work, I used it on a fairly small wart on my finger with no effect at all. Doesn't even seem very cold either. I tried to acid type of wart remover and all it does is shrink it down, and Doesn't get rid of it indefinitely. No idea what to do, i might schedule a appointment with my doctor and see what can be done because this wart is affecting my day to day life, it's on my dominant hand pointer finger and I always seem to bump it on stuff or it catches on something and rips the sides which causes it to hurt and ache every single day, and I also hate looking at it..
