Thermapen ONE, No. 1 Recommended Instant-Read Thermometer - Dove Grey

I bought this after seeing a recommendation from American test kitchen.It’s replacing a $10 digital temperature probe I bought from a local store.Major upgrade. The old probe use to take 20-40 seconds to get a reading that would fluctuate. Thermapen one does it instantly and gets the temperate correct.The build quality is great and I like the back light and rotating screen.Because it reads so fast it’s great when checking over a hot pan or in the oven.It’s expensive but I feel like it’s worth it. Couldn’t be easier to use, you just fold out the probe.Never guess if your food is done cooking, use this and you’ll know for sure.

What can I say? These are the best and I’ve never used anything else that comes close.Quick, accurate, easy-to-see temperature readings with no fuss. This thing is FAST - and I don’t know that I realized how important that was until I got used to it. Never going back to cheaper, slower knock-offs.You’re paying a premium for this level of performance but it’s worth it. If you want to save a couple bucks you can go with the older model - still just as accurate but not quite as fast.

This is a terrific thermometer - super accurate and responsive, and very easy to use.All that is required is to open the thermometer probe from the storage position and then place it on or within whatever you want to measure. It immediately shows the temperature, with great accuracy.Although a bit expensive, this is a thermometer that I am very happy with and satisfied with my purchase.

Why did I wait so long to purchase, probably threw away enough to pay for two. Instant and accurate readings, auto off to save battery, easy to clean.

Tested this against 3 other thermometers that I own.....instant reading is accurate. Tested multiple times and before 2 seconds i had an accurate reading to the decimal. The others took 8 seconds and the even cheaper one was never able to get a solid reading kept bouncing high and low at 12 seconds. Quality plastic and the screen tilts with your angle so you can read your temp no matter what angle. Pricier than I wanted to spend, but you get what you pay for.

Finally, a thermometer I can trust. If you’ve bought cheap, junky, thermometers on Amazon, you know that they scarcely work. This one is the real deal. It’s worth it.

Absolutely worth the money. I can tell it's accurate because I tested the ambient temperature in the room. You can expect 1-3 degree F variation. Super quick reading

Trying again. First one died after warranty expired. Like that it's a quick read.
