Very good for the price
For the price this is awesome. Only gripe is that I cannot disconnect the heat gun. But best soldering station I've ever had so far.

High Power Production Quality Featured Soldering Station is also great for home/occasional user
Home and occasional users of soldering irons can now have high power production quality performance and features with the BAKON 90 digital soldering station. I have tried soldering various unleaded solder formulations with 50W-60W soldering irons/stations. They do not get hot enough to melt unleaded solder. I had to go up to 80W irons/stations for unleaded solder. But there still seems to be a wide variability in quality, performance and life of the 80W heaters if you read the reviews on Amazon. The BAKON 90 soldering station is spec'd/rated at 90W. In use the high temperature is achieved quickly and I can solder with minimal wait. The BAKON 90 has a sleep mode feature which the user can set. With the iron in the holder and not moved for a period of time, the controller reduces the iron temp to a low setting. Remove the iron from the holder, it "wakes up" and returns to high temp. The sleep feature lengthens the life of the heater. In addition to manual temp setting, there are 3 preset "channel" buttons. The user can program each of these. For example, one preset could be for lead solder, another for unleaded solder, another for silver solder.Other features enable the user to turn off the display. lock the controller keys so that settings can't be changed, add password protection.etc. Extras/accessories include soldering iron tips, tweezers, solder-sucker, brass iron tip cleaning ball, and a roll of unleaded solder. At this price point, I think that this is a great soldering station for the home user. You may not need all the controller features now, but after you experience the ease and consistent solder joints you get with this station, you will want to do more soldering!

Defective. H-E error right out of the box.
UPDATE:Seller/manufacturer was extremely proactive and I received a replacement. Before returning, I tested the replacement with the original to see exactly which part was faulty, and confirmed the “H-E” error was due to a problem with base unit, not the iron. So, while the design is good, the price is good, and the customer service is good, there’s still a hint of uncertainness about the longevity of the product. I chose to keep it and take my chances—we’ll see.Original review:Upon getting to the requested operating temperature, it will always produce an "H-E" error, which the product instructions say nothing about. Apparently this is a problem relating to the "heating element" which is the iron itself. It will achieve the requested temperature momentarily, so the element is not completely broken, but within a few seconds... error. This is probably a temperature sensor issue. Regardless, having to get a replacement immediately doesn't inspire confidence in the longevity of this tool. I suspect if I don't use it daily, I'll come to find that in a few months when I go to use it again, and it's out of warranty, it will no longer work. It's a good thing this error is mentioned in the product information above, or one would be completely lost as to what the problem is, or if there even is a problem. Maybe go ahead and add a troubleshooting section with that info in the user manual, manufacturer/seller.Was saving $40 worth the delay and hassle? Probably not. Should have bought a name brand or something with a couple thousand positive reviews.

Decent build quality, heats up quick.
I purchased this as upgrade to my ancient Hakko 20W handheld soldering iron. I looked at the Gordak, Quicko, WEP, Yihua, KSGER which all have offerings in the 60 to 90 watt range but I chose this one as it looked well designed and had decent reviews. Bakon.....mmmmm.It's designed to resemble a Weller WT1010N with a similar color scheme with some obvious changes such as plastic housing and different connectors. It has 3 memory presets so that's useful, I suppose. The power switch is on the back which is a minor inconvenience. The iron is a bit cheap feeling but so far the tips fit and the barrel screws down just fine. If you were going to be using it all day, every day, you might get one with a better made iron. It will be just fine for me and my occasional projects and with light use, I expect it will be just fine.It heats up fast - like 5 seconds, and the tips take solder well. Using it is simple. Turn on, adjust temperature. Set a preset channel if you feel like it. That's it.The iron holder is all metal. For the price (approx $41 US), I'd say it's pretty decent and would recommend it to others looking for a budget higher wattage soldering iron.Apparently all the Chinese soldering iron makers use aviation connectors to connect their irons to the power supplies. This model uses a XS12JK-7P/Y 7 pin connector for the Bakon 906 soldering iron. This connector is available from Amazon.
