I'm kind of stunned that this trimmer doesn't have more reviews than it currently does. Hands down, it's the best beard trimmer I've ever owned -- and I've used at least 10 different trimmers from Philips, Braun, and Wahl over the past few years. Andis is a professional barbershop brand, but their trimmers have always been too expensive for me to buy for home use. This model finally makes them accessible for me and most other buyers. The advantages to this trimmer include ceramic blades which are sharp but stay cool; a wider cutting deck than most other beard trimmers; a very long battery life; and a turbo mode. The trimmer will absolutely plow through any hair in turbo mode. My only gripe would be, why don't they just make turbo mode the regular cutting speed? Regardless, it's easy to turn it on. I like the digital readout of the battery life. A full trim of my entire beard (which is a 7mm length) took the battery life down from 100% to 95%. Very impressive.

I love this brand and these clippers are perfect for my moustache. They are quiet, and definitely deliver for the price. They don't pull my hair and are perfectly sized. I also use them on my mohawk when I let the sides grow out too much for the Andis electric razor.

I love that this trimmer has a lock feature, so it won't accidently turn on while in your bag. It's very basic yet complete, as it has two different guards and a calibrated and solid adjustment in millimeters, making it easy to dial in length. It's pretty lightweight and easy to hold. The battery percentage readout is easy to read. I recently took this on a trip for the holidays for almost two weeks and didn't need to recharge it once. It works well for beard trimming.My biggest critique would be the distance between the points of the teeth on the top and bottom blades. Because the points aren't close enough to each other, I find you can only get so close when cleaning up the edges around your beard, so I would recommend pairing this with some sort of compact micro trimmer if you really want/need cleaner edges.Aside from my one critique, this is an excellent trimmer at an excellent price.

met expectations. while it does not provide a close shave, it provides a close enough shave for comfort, for my FIL with macular degeneration and 85% blindness. i do the facial and head shaving. if the FIL is happy afterwards, the product gets my blessing

This 150 gram beard and body groomer from ANDIS is cheaply made in China. Everything about it feels like flimsy plastic, especially the two combs. The instructions say to press firmly on the bottom of the comb to remove it. It works, but I have to be very careful with it as it seems to break easily. Both combs are already bent out of the box.(s. pic) Aside from my gripes, there are a few things I like about it. Design, lightweight, cordless power for up to 3.5 hours, titanium and ceramic blade, built-in rotary switch, IPX7 waterproof, display, pretty quiet even in turbo mode. It comes with a charging base, blade oil and a 1 cent brush. Overall, you get what you pay for, absolutely no more and rather less. I would recommend it if you are on a very tight budget or just looking for a cheap alternative (when you already have a much better one), maybe for traveling.

I have never been disappointed with the Andis corded Pet trimmers that I purchased for trimming my dogs several years ago, and this Andis beard trimmer dosen't disappoint either. It's a great quality trimmer, it's easy to use and cuts through my heavy beard precisely and with ease. The dial adjustable comb head to set trim length is a world apart from the single comb attachment on my old Wahl trimmer. I also like that it is rechargeable and shows it's current charge level.
