Plug and play.
Despite being managed, ou can just plug it in and it does work. Runs super quiet. Compact in size. With 8 ports running at 10Gb. This has never been a bottle neck in my local network. I had a hard time finding a 10Gb switch that had all ports running at full speed and this fit the bill and fit my budget.

Good managed 10gbs RJ45 switches
I purchased four of these RealHD eight port managed 10gbps switches. The build quality seems good (heavy metal enclosure, RJ45 ports and other fit and finish good.) The management through the web page is somewhat basic, but does what it needs to. I'm getting great throughput and no problems with a large number of different interfaces connected to them auto negotiating appropriately. The power cable is harder to get seated in the IEC socket on the back than a lot of other equipment and the cord is shorter than I needed for a couple of them but both were minor issues. Of the four switches, I did have one that would lose its config when powered down. I contacted support (through cctvsupply, inc, which surprised me originally as amazon mentions it as the RealHD store.) They called back quickly and shipped a replacement out very quickly with a label to return the switch with the problem. Excellent support. Five stars for the support!

Effortless and reliable
This unit has been running effortlessly (and continuously) since I powered it on last year. Now that I'm using 10Gb on the majority of my devices in my frankenstein homelab, it's been key. Ports negotiate to 1Gb/2.5Gb/10Gb (no not have a 5Gb device to verify). I replaced the stock fan with a Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX, and Db levels did not really change (this unit uses a 2-pin fan connector). It currently sits at my desk, and it's not noisy at all. The only real ding I would give it is that firmware updates (if there are any) are not publicly-available; no response back from cctvstore dot com (not can I find any at Shenzhen HongRui Optical Technology Co., Ltd.).

I'd hoped for more.
All 8 ports are, in fact, 10000baseT, which is great. You don't have to deal with annoying and outdated SFP+ ports at all. The case seems to be solid and it's plug and play. There are some downsides: 1. When they say it has a small fan, that's true. But the thing about small fans is that when you run them fast -- like this one -- they're super loud. I sit in an office with a 100TB file server, multiple desktop servers, and my collection of old classic computers. THIS IS THE LOUDEST THING IN THE OFFICE. The fan suuuuucks. And it's not running hot enough to blow any heat anyway. 2. See how it says it's a managed switch? I don't personally care because I wasn't gonna use much in the way of management features, but, uh. It's not a managed switch. There's a leaflet in the box that describes how to use the management UI. Except it's not there. Nothing to connect to. It's not a big deal to me but if you need to configure VLANs or jumbo frames, well, you're S.O.L. here. 3. That same leaflet says that you have to get the manual from the Amazon product page (wtf????). That's cool and all, except... the amazon product page doesn't have a link to the manual. TL;DR: unmanaged, LOUD AF, undocumented. Works fine, though.

It sucks
Itโs not worth the money. There is no directions on how to set it up. On to interface.

Reasonable option for a low cost managed 10GbE switch
Managed interface works (192.168.2.1). Gets warm, but no real issues yet. I keep it on metal shelving. Fan is a bit loud but you can't really hear it over the other machines. I consistently get 10Gbps over this switch with multiple machines.

So Far So Good
My order arrived quickly and packed well for the shipping. Everything seems to be working good, I haven't had a chance to really put it through its paces but so far so good.
