I KNEW they'd be built well from the measurements pictured in the listing, but I was still pleasantly surprised by the excellent build quality. (Measurements appreciated, btw. Dimensions should be included with every product!) Anyway, they're definitely capable of the 300lbs stated in the item description. They even look tough, they function well, and they're sleek on top of everything else! Can hinges look good? Why, yes. Yes, they can. Seems to be a good value, imo. I've spent more for far inferior hardware in the past and I'd say 30 $ is a fair price for these beefy hinges. I'm excited for the install - which is pretty straightforward after looking at the product and the instructions that are included. It comes with hardware but I'll be replacing the included screws for longer ones for some added security just because there's enough material to drill into and because I can.

I always wanted a bookcase door, but I assumed they were expensive and complicated to make. This hardware is high quality and well made. I love how simple and easy it is to install. The instructions are well-written and illustrated so DIYers can accomplish their dreams. If you are creating a small door 28-32 with lightweight wood, this set is great, it will hold 300 pounds (I would not do more than 200). Remember, this is the weight of the bookcase and items on the shelf. I did not consider that and had to reevaluatethe items I wanted to use. If you're going to put books on it, go with one that holds more weight. It allows 360 full swing, which replaces a pantry or swing door. I ended up using it for my laundry room as it had fewer weight restrictions. It turned out great, I think this is a great option if it fits your needs.

The parts all feel like they are good quality, instructions were included but now I forgot I need to figure out how to do the hidden door itself haha
