Little plant with rapid growth
I received a lovely healthy plant, well packaged and delivered on time. Mmm I thought when I saw it, it’s a bit small, anyway potted it up in some good quality compost added in Some fertiliser beads watered it and waited. From about 5th day onwards my little plant started behaving like Jack's beanstalk! It grew very quickly into a lovely healthy plant it looks great amongst my fatsias, ferns, grasses, bamboos and rhododendrons very tropical at very small cost, the plant was now over 3ft tall when disaster struck! The flaming'' little beastie ants decided they loved the plant as much as I did, (this is not the fault of the seller). I used sticky bandage to stop the ants crawling up and I cleaned off those on the plant leaves and stem hopefully it will be OK, it suffered some leaf damage 😡is now wrapped in a fleece over wintering in my potting shed and I feel confident that we will have a good plant next spring. I am definitely going to order more and different species to mix in with my plants around my wildlife pond to achieve a tropical look.

Worth the money
From some of the reviews, I was expecting tiny plants. Not the case. All came perfectly wrapped and all very healthy. Needed repotting straight away but that’s to be expected with banana plants. Pleasantly surprised, thank you.

The plant is great and is growing well despite being a bit battered and damaged in transit... the plant was folded inside the box which was as shame as it caused damage to the leaf bit embarrassing to give as a gift but just had to explain the issues but thankfully there has been a new leaf starting to grow. The plant is smaller than I thought it would be but it is doing really well in the position it has been put in and I look forward to it growing to a substantial size so that it produces fruit. The leaf that is growing is really pretty and a nice plant to look at despite it just being a green leaf.Beware of the slugs and snails as they like to have a much on the stem so I had to do emergency protective measures around the base to try and protect it.. but this could be due to the amount of slugs and snails about this growing season.

Wonderful
My Abyssinian palm was much better than expected. It was extremely healthy and well packaged. Arrived sooner than expected. I am absolutely delighted and will probably buy another one.

Postal plants...
The banana plant arrived with damage to some of the leaves, but what can you expect with buying plants online...they're not going to be perfect after travel.I potted it and put it outside but further damage occurred in high winds! However, I've brought it inside into the sunroom and given it some TLC and it's getting stronger with new growth. It's not very red though which is a little disappointing as I was expecting more colour for when I do put it back outside in a border.Update...it recovered well, was put outside and was big and strong. I cut it back a fair bit to bring it in for the winter, it's now March and it will go out in a sheltered location when it warms up. I love it.

Poor quality, died quickly and poor customer service
I bought this item in August. It didn’t look like the images as it was a lot smaller in the pot. But I thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt so I planted it out to give it some time to grow and potted it up and brought it inside before there was any chance of frosts.Since then the plant has died off completely so I contacted YouGarden by phone (no email option through Amazon) and was told they would have replaced but cannot as it is not in stock. They agreed to check what they could offer me with a manager and call back, but 3 days later and I still haven’t had a callI’ve emailed this morning using the address given during the phone call and had a response saying that although the normal guarantee is 1 year, it only applies for 30 days on this plant so I won’t get anything. So that’s £16 completely wasted. I won’t be buying any further YouGarden products

Sadly they die off, but come back even better 🌴
Just love ❤️ my banana plants. They have gone from strength to strength. Even sprouted babies 😄 Just wish they lasted all year round. Though I think our winter winds & rain would bash them too much. Highly recommend if you want a tropical look in your garden 🪴
