Awesome for easy projects
Exactly the type of engraving tool I was looking for. I think I have engraved most things that can-be engraved in my home by now, but this tool works great for jewelry making and many other projects as well. I’m sure you will find an attachment to fit your needs, as there are a variety attachments included. I have not had a chance to try out any of them on wood, but I am excited to do so. Very easy to change out attachments, turn off/on, switch speeds. Easy to hold as a left handed person. Not too heavy and not too light either; there is a little weight to it. I would recommend this to any level of experience. Instructions are clear.

Bits are friction held. Not locking!
Friction bit holding system. Not solid bit holding. Bits slud in and out no lock. So I too much pressure on bit motor allows bits to slip. And too much slip bits no longer stay. Just a cheap nail engraver. Not impressed but it can engrave your name into some tools or light work engraving. Depends on what you need I guess.

Highly recommend!
I recently purchased the USB Rechargeable Engraving Pen with 37 bits, and it has been a great purchase! This mini electric engraver is versatile, and can be used on jewelry, stone, metal, plastic, wood, and more. No cord means it’s easy to use in a variety of places and positions! The rechargeable battery allowed me time to complete projects before recharging. The pen is comfortable size, easy to use and control even with detail work. I look forward to completing more personalized projects for the upcoming holiday season! A great value!!

Easy to use
This engraver is very easy to use and compact . It sits comfortably in my hand and is lightweight. Battery life is pretty long. Very useful and good quality product for this price.
