The cables provided dont have an opening at the end to connect them to the multimeter they are completely sealed. I'm I supposed to cut the ends off?

The connecting leads each have a removable keeper to prevent damage. Hold the plug in one hand and pull on the small lip at the end with your finger nails. The keeper is 15mm long and should be replaced when not in use. DO NOT CUT THE ENDS OFF!
