Is easily scraped off instead of significant protection

I've been using this edge guard tape for a while now and it's held up well, even with frequent use.

I purchased this tape to protect the edges of my paddle. After using a few times notice it is shredding. After less than a month had to replace. Previous tape purchased by another manufacturer lasted the life of my paddle. Do not recommend.

They fit well on a 14, 16 or max 20mm paddle, looks good also, pretty sticky too

I like the Joovan Edge Guard Tape for paddles that don't have a plastic factory edge guard like the Selkirk paddles. I did try them on some other paddles I have that do have the factory plastic edge guards and they seem more difficult to get a good fit and generally seem a bit redundant when used that way. For the edgeless paddles they install easily, fit well and look good while protecting the paddle edges. The adhesive seems strong enough to keep them in place, but they stay removeable long enough to make sure getting them properly positioned isn't too difficult. The tape is perforated, and I can't decide if I like that look, but that is subjective, and many may prefer it. For those with paddles with no plastic edge guard I think they are a must have unless you are much more careful than I am about contact with the court. They come in many different colors so it should be easy to find one that matches just about any paddle for those that value how a paddle looks as much as how it performs. I took off one star because one of the pieces of tape wasn't cut perfectly straight on the edge. It doesn't affect how it performs, but I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to symmetry.

The universal fit of this edge guard tape worked perfectly with my paddle. It provides great protection and looks sleek.
