The design of this bed is very reasonable, with a comfortable bed on top and a spacious desk area below, providing a quiet study space for children.The installation is also very simple, and it took us less than two hours to complete it. Highly recommended!

Short version... if I needed another one of these, I MIGHT buy another one.The screws on this thing are confusing at best. Please do what I didn't, and sort and label them before you begin. The packaging is unhelpful after you've gone about two steps into the process. It would have helped more if I had not received a screw that was unusable. Was glad they sent a spare. Additionally would have helped if I had noticed some screws were taped onto the back of the hardware packaging. The instructions were mostly ok, just not thorough. The ladder can be placed in two different locations, which makes the holes confusing no matter which way you put it. While the pictures show where the holes should be... there is a slight difference, not seen in the instructions for correct direction.As a side note for the lights... the app didn't work for us. My son can still use the switch, just doesn't get to use a device for a remote control option.Mostly happy with the loft bed now. Those instructions were irritating and I'm glad to be finished with them.

I would not buy. After shopping around and looking at several beds, we selected this specific bed because it advertised an under-bed head room of 65.5 inches. However only after assembling half of the bed did I realize it looked shorter than advertised. After measuring I found that the true under-bed height was actually only 58.5, even shorter than several beds we didn’t select in lieu of this one. That is 7 whole inches shorter than what was advertised. We specifically selected this bed because our son could walk under it at the advertised 65.5 inches, but now he will hit his head at the true hight of 58.5. They likely inflated the hight to compete and to try and justify the added cost. I do not know how else to refer to this than false advertising. I would not buy this bed

Nothing about this bed is pre-assembled. It took FOREVER to put together. The drawers are made of cloth, and likely will wear out quickly. However, those spots can easily be turned into additional shelving. They rock quite a bit, and you should definitely use the anti-tip mounts that come with them. You should also know that the ends are not interchangeable.

It comes with a tool to help assemble, but to save your hands and fingers a drill or screwdriver with a comfort handle might be optimal. Very heavy box it came in. Needs two strong people to lift it

Update*** I am changing my review due to the fact that I was issued a full refund for this. Customer service got in contact with me and after speaking with them they were very apologetic and issued a full refund to me for this product**** thank you for doing the right thing and taking care of your customers.This took days to put together and we weren’t able to complete it fully. The bars for the desk were all supposed to be the same size but 2 of the bars were 3/4” too long. The only way to put the bars on was to change the t bar and v bars location and force it. The wholes on a lot of the pieces did not line up. I contacted the seller for a partial refund or something and they told me I must have not been putting it together correctly and asked for pictures to probe it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this loft bed unless you want to spend days in stress trying to figure out how to put it together.

When you have 3 boys in the same room, you have to get pretty creative with the limited space. This loft bed was the perfect solution to several issues in our household.-The package arrived completely intact and sealed with tape.-No part on this product was bent or broken.-The instructions were easy to follow.-The final product is very sturdy.-My son absolutely loves his little gaming space as he’s no longer sitting in his bed playing games, hunched over.-Very high value for the money, even when you consider the price of shipping.The only modification I’m considering is placing a measured/trimmed piece of 1/4 to 3/8 in lauan between the mattress and the bed rails for slightly better weight distribution, but I’m in no hurry to do this.
