I’m really happy with this product. Assembly was super straightforward—just follow the instructions and it comes together quickly. Once filled with sand, the roller feels heavy in a good way, and the build quality is solid. I tried it out after a good rain. At first it took a little effort to get it moving, but once it started rolling, it went smoothly. The two wheels help keep it steady, and if you need to move it around, just pull it backward—it’s surprisingly easy. The results were great. Each tine pulled up soil cores just like it’s supposed to. Overall, it’s a sturdy, efficient tool that really does the job. Definitely recommend it!

It works pretty well! The video for assembling it was better for how to attach the springs than the written instructions. Use a funnel to fill the holes with sand after lying it down at an angle. I used it on my lawn after it rained, and it made very good plugs. It was better than the manual aerator. It is ideal for small lawns or someone than wants to workout. It is a little hard to turn, but it can be done.

This aerator works great! I’ve used it twice, last spring and again today. Both times I waited until after it rained, so the ground was soft enough that I didn’t have to put sand in the aerator to weigh it down. The aerator is well-designed and very durable, and it turns and backs up easily, which is important. It’s perfect for small to mid-sized lawns. My lawn is about 3000 sq ft and it took me about 90 minutes to aerate it well. It’s a good workout, similar to pushing a lawn mower without power-assist. For me, this works much better than renting a gas-powered aerator, given the time and expense of that, and my neighbors are now asking to borrow it. It’s well worth the price and I’m very happy with it.

Great for the DIYer. Wanted to aerate my lawn for years but didn’t want to rent commercial equipment for my small lawn. Wasn’t worth the money for one use from the cost my local rental companies wanted to charge. Purchasing this rig will pay for itself after the third use. Love how I can work at my own pace and not worry about returning. Didn’t penetrate as well as I thought it would filled with sand (~70 lbs total) with a moist loamy soil but it worked well overall. Cores flicked right out of the barrel as expected. Quite the workout pushing the rig around full of sand even with a fairly flat lot. All my buddies want to borrow it from me next year. Recommend getting one

Definitely a workout but it does its job. Assembly wasn't too horrible but it took me about 30 minutes. Its easy to clean and store. Once you add your sand to it, it should puncture mostly soft ground easily. It will hop around on soil that isn't wet enough. Seems pretty durable and good sized. I love the handles that are used to push around. They are rubber and padded. Just be prepared for a heavy workout. :)

The aerator works as intended! It punches holes even though my ground was not as wet as I wanted it to be. I reached out customer support for a minor issue and they responded in a timely manner and resolved my issue. If you are on the fence, pull the trigger. It is well made and worth it.

The reviews were good so I went ahead and purchased it, I returned it the same day. The wheel barring broke during 1st use and it only went 1/2 inch into the lawn this is after heavy rain the day before. Not affective at all and a total waste of money!

The best manual roll aerator I’ve used yet! The overall design is phenomenal and it’s very obvious that real engineering went into the design. The assembly is fairly simple and easy. It doesn’t feel flimsy or overly heavy but it does take real effort to use in the yard. And the price is very competitive against other roll aerators. Definitely recommend.
