Yes, I was skeptical about purchasing the Thinlerain Portable Monitor Toucscreen 15.6 Inch Full HD (1920 x 1080P). Why the skepticism? Well, for a start the asking price is a mere £109.99! You don't see many portable 15.6 inch touchscreen enabled monitors for this low price. Well, to be more accurate, I haven't been able to see a 15.6 inch portable touchcreen monitor at that price!WHY I THINK THIS PORTABLE MONITOR IS SO INEXPENSIVEI have to state that the build quality - though good - is very much on the plastic side. As a result, the Thinlerain Portable Monitor Toucscreen 15.6 Inch Full HD is very light. There are two sides to this lightness... 01. Carrying it around is effortless. 02. It feels a little fragile. Therefore, you can't put it in a backpack, for example, and not forget about it. You can't flop down into a seat with your backpack on, with the Thinlerain monitor in it as you'd probably destroy it. So, I am going to be very conscious about carrying it around in my backpack!It has no built-in power, e.g. a battery. This, I think, is a good thing. Why? In my experiences, a built-in battery can and will eventually burnout and stop working, thus making the device unusable. A built-in battery can make the device heavy. We'll get to power in a bit...WHY DID I BUY THE THINLERAIN PORTABLE MONITOR?I had purchased another portable monitor, the Tekelron Portable Monitor 4k Touchscreen (reviewed by Yours Truly) with the intention for using it with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra via the DeX functionality, which, effectively, turns my Galaxy S23 Ultra into a PC. I felt the Tekelron 4K touchscreen monitor is overkill. But I have kept it for use with my PC. So, I opted for a HD (1080P) monitor instead.Anyway, so far, the Thinlerain portable touchscreen monitor works exceptionally well! This was surprising! I found the touchscreen to be very responsive! I love it! It is an extension of my Galaxy S23 Ultra! Bliss!POWERWhat powers the Thinlerain portable touchscreen monitor is a USB C cable to USB A, which goes into an electrical plug, which, obviously goes into a mains socket. This could be an issue if there is an intention to work remotely, e.g. in a cafe. With that in mind, I purchased the ONLYNEW Power Bank 27000mAh Portable Charger - PD20W Fast Charging Battery Pack with USB C Output! This seems to work pretty well thus far! Review on the ONLYNEW Power Bank 27000mAh portable charger will come in due course... You know me... I like to give a product some time as opposed to doing a review straightaway! A device could stop working for whatever reason!I can tell you that I chose the ONLYNEW Power Bank 27000mAh portable charger because similar products over 27000mAh capacity appears to be unreliable. I would love to be able to test such a portable charger in due course!Anyway... Let me conclude this Thinlerain portable touchscreen monitor review...CONCLUSIONThe Thinlerain portable HD touchscreen monitor is great to use. The picture quality is exceptional - I was expecting the screen to be somewhat dull. However, the screen is quite bright, and adjustments can be made.For me, as a Samsung DeX user, the Thinlerain portable HD touchscreen monitor is a no brainer! The asking price makes it a steal! I can only hope that this portable touchscreen monitor will keep functioning for a long-time to come.Once again, it is so very light that it makes it effortless to carry around. When it was delivered to me, I thought, momentarily, that the case I had purchased had arrived - it is that light!I am very happy with the Thinlerain portable HD touchscreen monitor, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!THINGS TO BEAR IN MIND01. I did not purchase the Thinlerain portable HD touchscreen monitor to play games. I would imagine that you'd want a portable screen with a higher resolution, e.g. 2K or 4K.02. The sound isn't great. I intend to use a Bluetooth enabled set of speakers and / or earbuds.03. There is a built-in stand that pulls out of the back of the unit.04. Great item for the price. Picture quality not amazing but does the job for remote working.

Sorry to all you Techies out there, but I am not really qualified to talk about Specs. This monitor is great right out of the box, I haven't had to make any adjustments or set up, and the touchscreen is very responsive. It is not a well known brand, but I've seen branded screens look worse and needing adjustment. It's very light and extremely portable although I'm using it to give my mini PC more of Tablet feel, making full use of the touchscreen. The price if anything is cheap, but the product is not.

I was excited to get this portable screen, thinking it would be a game-changer. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. The touchscreen is more of a “look-but-don’t-touch” situation—it only works for settings, so forget any dreams of using it like an iPad. The screen quality? Meh. Colors are dull, and the resolution isn’t winning any awards. If you’re looking for a crystal-clear display with smooth touchscreen functionality, keep scrolling. This one’s more of a frustrating “almost good” than a must-have.

Doesn’t work with an iPad 5th gen. A brand new iPad but the screen isn’t touch screen. The instructions say plug a mouse unit he screen if the OS systems doesn’t work with the screen. It makes no difference. Sad as it looks a nice device.

I did not need a really vibrant screen, this ones suits my needs perfectly as it allows me to read without having to use glasses.Fonts are really clear and item is very practical as it does not weigh much and easy to carry around.Connectivity is excellent

Given the price I wasn't expecting much but as a second portable monitor for my laptop when I'm traveling it's spot on. Also works well with my S22. No complaints from me!
