Out of the box, I was impressed with the quality of the product. I love the size of the chopping grates and the vegetable bin, and the chopper is very easy to assemble and use. The grates are razor sharp on the top side, so never touch those with your hand. I made Pico De Gallo first. I chose the small grate and discovered that the cilantro chopped up nicely by laying it on the grate, then putting your quartered onion wedge, point side down, on top of it. No further chopping required! I also learned not to put too many wedges of tomato on the grate at once, because you'll get squirted!!! All in all, I made the Pico in a fraction of the time it would have taken, because I'm not very fast when chopping a lot of vegetables. I also chop potatoes on the large grate, to boil for mashed potatoes. Very handy to have and I highly recommend!

Love my new machine. Extremely sharp blades. Slicing veg is now a pleasure.The dicing part works well and has "comb" to clean out the pressure unit.

Easy to assemble and easy to use. So trouble with slicing but I think that is mostly due to getting to know the blades. Love how it is dish washer friendly. Mostly used to make chopped salads.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this for my mom who has arthritis in her hands. We was able to use without any problem.

For the last 9 months I've raved to people about this dicer, telling them it's an essential part of their kitchen. But recently 1 of the blades came out of the small grid and I followed the links to let the company know about the problem ... They have a 1 year warranty. I've done this twice now and no response. Amazon sent me an email asking if I was satisfied with the company's response and I told them no ... But nothing from them either. Since the first blade came out I've used that grid, placing things in the bottom part and today another blade came out. If I could buy a replacement grid I would, but haven't been able to find one. So if I have to purchase another dicer it won't be this brand

I absolutely love this. it's easy to clean, easy to store, and has so many uses. I keep trying to find more reasons to chop and shred things. I do wish it had one more size on the straight cut, it's either too thin, or too thick for some items. But it's my go to for quick, uniform, easy cutting.
