Autoloading Utility Knife, Blade Magazine, TB-H4-10-A

I use a utility knife frequently in my work and at home. I carry an old, and I do mean old brand that starts with an "S." My old knife, which has entered semi-retirement, sitting in a place of honor, used to open Amazon packages. As you know, that model requires a #2 Phillips for blade changes. Also, the old one only carries five spares in the handle, at most. The ToughBuilt knife lives up to the hype. It was recommended by a friend who uses knives for cutting his PB&J sandwiches and drywall work. Switching the blade is easy, press the button and give it a tug. Blades can be easily turned and reinstalled to get full use out of a blade. The little prying tool in the handle hasn't been used much, but it is sturdy. The slot to cut cords is narrow at only 3/16" (6mm), is good for twine. I'm sure it's good for other specific uses. It's a bit heavy compared to the old zinc knives, but the fun thing is that spare blades don't rattle in your pocket or when performing a surprise box opening. Buy with confidence, it's a handy knife that improves greatly on a tried and true tool.

This is the slickest utility knife I've used. The smooth operation makes it super easy to use and the reload feature is fantastic. If there were a way to make ejecting the blade a fraction smoother it would be the ultimate utility knife. As it is, removing a blade is super easy and there is plenty of storage for additional blades in the handle to keep the reloads coming. There is a protected cutting slot for those that may need to cut without fully extending the blade. Has some weight to it which will likely be durable if dropped. Great purchase.

The knife is good quality, and I really like it. but It CAN NOT use standard Stanly utility blades or two other off brands I tried because the knife mechanisms are too small the blades will NOT lock in or fit in the auto loader. I am a big fan of tough built and own almost a $1,000 of their tools, but this one was a letdown for me.

A great utility knife. Has a very solid feel with good heft. I own multiple Tough Buil utility knives and have no hesitation in recommending this or any of their knives. The blades it comes with are very sharp and the price is reasonable for the quality of the knife. Only problem is finding Tough Built products in the US is not always the easiest thing to do

I think this is great . Works well . Blade eject works well. Auto loader works well. Saves time. Pry bars is definitely a big help Fun to impress coworkers.
