Review: 51 Episodes of a classic show! - Got it on release day, it compiles 51 episodes worth of content over 1020 minutes. Its a funny spoof of another classic show, that being Takeshi's Castle. I personally love both. I knew going in this would be SD not HD, but wanted to show support for the franchise and have a new copy that is more convenient. Also it could be me but I swear its just a smidge clearer overall when compared to streaming services and my original DVD's. What you get is a single Blu-ray Disc that is essentially taking the DVD menus and soundbites and putting it all here. I only quickly browsed the menus but saw some audio commentary by the cast and crew for 3 episodes along with 3 most extreme eliminations. I recall enjoying having a few of the OG Takeshi's Castle episodes on the DvDs as extras and didn't see them here. Hopefully they show up in the next set. I'd actually pay well for a full Takeshi's Castle set if it were ever to see the light of day. Overall if you're a fan of the show or want to dip your toes in some retro MST3K style humor I'd recommend it. If your 'ol DVDs still work fine then it might not be worth it. But if you are like me and want another copy with less swapping out of discs then this is for you. I also remember another funny show after MXC finished that was like Super happy big product fun time or something and it often had my sister and I laughing our collective tooshies off, that could make for a neat extra or set. Wish I could see that again. Good work though and I'll get the next set as soon as it goes up for preorder lol. Review: RIGHT YOU ARE, KEN - Few shows get me to laugh harder than MXC, enough said.

Standard definition on a single Blu-Ray disk.
The first 51 episodes, from the first 3 seasons. My only complaint, is with obvious video interlace artifacts. There's been no attempt to massage the video or reduce video noise. Looks just like the original broadcasts and DVD releases. Extras include an eight minute promotional sales video, and a 6 minute behind the scenes featurette. 3 episodes have alternate audio tracks, with production staff commentaries. Simple menu. You can select individual episodes, or "Play-All".

LET'S GO!!! 🫡🏃➡️🏃🏻♀️➡️
Used to watch this on Spike TV with my step-dad. This show was hella funny. The jokes would fly by at a million miles an hour. There was always some guy named Babaganoosh. 🤣🤣 Blu ray looks good. There's a bunch of episodes. Something like 17 hours altogether. I'd say it's worth it. Big time nostalgia trip for me. 5/5

Thank you Discotek....
for bringing back a very memorable, very funny part of my younger years. Yes the episodes are in sd but let's be honest, nobody is going to spend the time and money remastering and upscaling episodes of a very niche show from 20 years ago; I'm just glad it's finally available again in an affordable format for longtime fans and those just discovering the show.

A fun packed 51 episodes!
And a good variety of bonus features too! It's worth getting it with the DVD's becoming high in price.

It's one huge video file
While I am ecstatic to see MXC available on physical media, I'm not impressed that all 51 episodes are one single file with chapter markers. So if you plan to rip this to a home media server, know that it's not gonna file well.

Rightchuareken! All the glory of man's creativity distilled into a blu-ray diskette. My only complaint is that it cost a small fortune.
