These scissors are exactly what I expect from a brand like KitchenAid. They are VERY sharp and the blades are nice and tight against each other. You can easily cut a thin piece of string with these scissors no problem, and they chomp through meat or pizza with similar ease. NOTE: YOU CANNOT SEPARATE THE BLADES TO CLEAN, so I am deducting a star because I think for kitchen shears it's a must to be able to clean them properly... other than that they are very good.

On the plus side...sharp scissors that are great for cutting food, paper and other things. The handles are very comfortable. The added shapes and functions of the scissors make this very handy. Solid feel, overall smooth movement. The cover fits over the scissors with a nice snap which is a big plus. The only quirk is that when closing there is a slight catch of the metal. This may smooth out over time but that is what is preventing this from being 5 star.

These are not your average kitchen scissors. They have a bit of weight on them but they don't feel too heavy. The blades are sharp and cut very well. Beside using them for cutting, they also work as a nut cracker. They feel very sturdy and can crack nut well. The opening for the nut cracker is that end of the blade so I feel a bit weird about it but I think it will just take time to get used to. The set comes with 2 kitchen scissors, each with its own cover. They are very high quality items that work very good. I'd highly recommend.

𝘁𝗹;𝗱𝗿: Sharp, ergonomic shears with cleaning limitations.┈╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍┈𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:🔪 These shears are impressively sharp and versatile, and they cut through most things with ease.✋ The ergonomic design is decent. The handles are comfortable enough; I don’t get hand fatigue holding these for longer periods.🧼 Cleaning is a little inconvenient. The blades don't easily separate without a wrench, limiting thorough sanitization, especially after handling raw meats.⚙️ An odd but intentional blade alignment causes a grinding sensation when closing from fully open, interrupting smooth cutting motion. It's not major, but it ‘feels weird’.

These scissors are perfect for kitchen use with a lot of added features. The blades are sharp which is perfect for cutting foods and the bottle opener is a plus. The scissors comes with a sheath for added protection.
