Fantastic travel keyboard backed by world-class customer service!
I couldn't be happier with my ProtoArc Foldable Keyboard! As someone who is always working on the go, finding a keyboard that is truly compact, easy to pack, and comfortable to type on felt impossible—until I found this. It folds up incredibly small to fit in my bag, connects instantly to my devices, and the keys feel snappy and satisfying. What really blew me away, though, was ProtoArc’s customer service. I had a quick question about my device, and their support team responded almost immediately, resolving my inquiry with absolute kindness and efficiency. It is so rare to find a company that matches a high-quality product with genuinely outstanding customer support. 10/10 recommend—I'll definitely be buying from ProtoArc again!

Sturdy, High quality materials, comfortable to use, I love it!
My son who is a missionary in a remote place where he does not have access to a computer and only uses a smartphone, wanted a bluetooth keyboard that he could use to type emails and other things like that. I searched through so many descriptions of different keyboards and finally settled on this one. Before sending it to him directly though, I got one for myself to see if it would be a good fit for him. Oh, my gosh! I am in love with it! It makes typing text messages, and other things that I usually struggle with on a phone, so much easier. It seems to be super high quality materials, and the engineering of how it folds and works is fantastic. Hats off to the developers. Pros: Smaller than my phone, it's easy to carry along. The keys are weighted to feel like keys on a regular keyboard. Pairs easily. Types great in all the applications I've tried it with, ie, Word, Notepad, 365, texting, emails. The little phone stand is adjustable and sits firmly on a flat surface, holding the phone at any angle I need. Cons: The keyboard is a little smaller, about 1.5", than a full-sized keyboard, but I play the piano, so I use the same techniques of curved finger positions and it doesn't bother me at all. My husband, who has a tremor, can't use it though. It's too small for him. Also, I think I will have to be careful with the phone stand. It may be a bit more fragile than the keyboard, but I still love it. Also, I do wish the on/off switch had an automatic off for if I forget to turn it off, but that's so insignificant that I still rate it 5 stars. If it continues to work well, this rating will stand. If it fails in the next year, I'll change my review.

Surprisingly good typing experience!
I'm typing this review on the XK04 right now and I have to say that I'm impressed. The keyboard is well made, with a substantial metal hinge and a clever flap that moves to hide the insides of the mechanism when closed. The keys are a bit smaller than a standard size keyboard, so you won't be typing quite as fast, but the adjustment is very fast. A nice feature of this keyboard vs other ultra portable keyboards is the actual laptop grade scissor switches which feel much better than the standard mushy membrane switches on most competitors. As far as key feel and travel, I would say this is on the level of a decent mid-grade Dell laptop. It's not at the level of a Macbook or a Logitech MX Keys, but it's a far cry better than the el cheapo Chromebooks you can find at standard big box retail. Pairing was easy. Just use the included quick start business card and you'll be rolling in seconds. The packaging was also quite impressive. Unboxing experience was very pleasant and this would present very well as a gift for someone into tech.

Helpful easy to use keyboard for travel use
I felt this keyboard met all my expectations. Compact, efficient, and long lasting battery. It provides a mini mouse pad even, when you fold it up. Sometimes you only need a keyboard for starting up, and launching programs, especially when you're getting ready for a gaming session. This was ideal for my latest work trip, and complimented my handheld PC nicely. Highly recommend this one! Easy to set up, and change the macro for F keys and media control. I didn't even notice any noise coming from the keys. It's compatible with windows, but that's all I tried it with. I used the Bluetooth feature. Great keyboard!

Amazingly Well Designed Product
In this day and age when most of what we buy is crap it's positively shocking to roadtest a new item and be absolutely blown away by just how good it is. A full-featured keyboard that makes it possible to send virtually ANY command to my Android device in a package that folds up and slips into my back pocket! The tiny design details that many will miss if the product simply works. Like an adjustable stand that actually supports my 11" tablet, weighs only 3/4 of an once(!) and folds up to slip into my shirt pocket! The fact that the keyboard comes with 3 - count 'em - 3 separate bluetooth channels so you can use with all of your Android devices without reconfiguring bluetooth each time you switch. The developer deserves not only our business but possibly a medal. 8 stars for this winner!

Excellent, highly portable setup for mobile work
The ProtoArc XK04 has been a great addition for getting work done when I’m away from my desk. It’s thin enough to toss in a bag for a coffee shop session before a meeting, and the setup is fast enough that it doesn't feel like a chore to pull out. I also use it at home to knock out a bit of work on my phone or tablet while watching TV in the evening. It isn't as rigid as a full-size desktop keyboard, but for the size, it’s surprisingly comfortable to type on and even works fine for gaming. The best feature is that it stores three Bluetooth profiles. Being able to toggle between a phone and tablet instantly without re-pairing is a huge time-saver. If you need a compact, reliable keyboard for travel or casual use, this one is hard to beat.

A compact well designed wireless key board
After using this keyboard for approximately a month, I have found it to be a high quality product. Its build is both compact and solid, making it easy to carry and durable in everyday use. The keyboard functions seamlessly with my 13" tablet, offering smooth operation and reliable connectivity. I plan to test its compatibility with my other devices, including my cellphone, in the near future. While some users have reported issues with this keyboard, I am hopeful that I will not encounter similar problems as I continue to use it across different devices.

I tested 8 portable keyboards - this one was #3
Note that all of them were relatively light, portable, and easy to connect. Most were very reasonably priced (some were bought on sale) and USB-C chargeable. They tended to be somewhat flimsily constructed (probably to keep weight and costs down). Ranked from most to least favorite: 1. iClever BK05se [this is the one I ended up keeping]. Pros: full size keyboard; aluminum, moderately sturdy construction; the only one that had the option to work wired in addition to via Bluetooth. Cons: because of the hinges on the bottom, doesn’t lie absolutely flat, the ends bounce up and down a little; slightly heavier than the other options; no carrying case; trifold instead of bifold (I think the more moving parts, the more likely to break) 2. Samsers KF08S. Pros: full size keyboard; good bifold construction; lies flat, even when typing on your lap; carrying case. Cons: spacing between keys might be *too* much for my preference; keys feel a little flimsier than the iClever; space bar is split awkwardly 3. ProtoArc XK04. Pros: good bifold construction. Cons: not a full size keyboard, keyboard bows in the middle when typing on lap, so you need a lapdesk or other hard surface. 4. Logitech Keys-to-GO 2. Pros: beautiful design and multiple colors, build quality looks good, built in cover. Cons: coin battery only, not rechargeable; not foldable, so though it is very thin, it has a large footprint; more expensive than the other options 5. iClever BK03. Pros: aluminum, moderately sturdy construction; similar to above iClever, though does not have a full size keyboard, or wired option, though it does come with a carrying case. 6. Samsers (ASIN B0CRL6W6DR). Pros: multiple cute color options. Cons: letter keys are not all the same width, making it tricky to touch type; gap in the fold, creates split keyboard; flimsy feel. 7. Logitech Keys-to-go. Pros: attractive design; one piece construction protects keys against minor spills, maybe? Cons: keys are difficult to press down; cannot fold, so same issue as other Logitech 8. Geyes. Pros: unique design is clever and sleek, and the only one tested that has a built in phone stand. Cons: keys are very small, too cramped to use for long; build quality seems the worst - the metal edges aren’t finished and can easily scratch your skin; note also the rose colored model isn’t color-matched - one of the panels is metallic rose, the other is more of a salmon color. I can moderately recommend keyboards #1-5, depending on your needs. I do not recommend keyboards #6-8.

A surprisingly solid and practical folding keyboard
I bought this folding keyboard mainly for its compact and lightweight format (I use it with iPad). It fits easily in a bag, unfolds within seconds, and provides a typing surface that feels very close to my 12” MacBook (2016) or the Magic Keyboard for iPad. The keys are comfortable and pleasant to use. Once unfolded, it feels like a full-size keyboard, so I don’t get the sense of being cramped. Even the slightly off-center space bar doesn’t bother me at all. The hinge falls under the right thumb, but that’s not an issue for me since I know what I bought and I accept the small compromises that come with a folding design. The build is entirely plastic, so of course it doesn’t have the premium aluminum finish Apple would offer, yet for the price I am genuinely impressed by the engineering behind it. Battery life has been perfectly fine so far. I sometimes type with the keyboard on my lap, for example on a plane, and while it can feel a bit less stable, it remains functional. The trick I found to prevent it from bending in the middle while typing is simply to support it with my thumbs underneath. It’s easy enough to do and doesn’t affect usability. I also customized it to fit my needs: I use a Canadian French layout, so I added stickers for certain keys, and I covered the brand name printed across the space bar since I didn’t like it showing. These small adjustments make the keyboard feel more personal. Overall, this is an excellent compromise between portability, comfort, and price. I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and practicality. It’s not as solid as an Apple keyboard, but for what it is, it works very well and I can carry it anywhere without hassle. With the added reassurance of a two-year warranty, I feel confident in my purchase. For now, I am very satisfied, and it’s proving to be a great little tool.

A very functional portable keyboard
It’s a good option. The folded form is genuinely portable, they keys feel good and the smaller size is workable, although I do typo more, which seems like a fair trade off since I don’t use it constantly to get familiar. Easily swaps between my iPads and Vision Pro, have only charged once since I got it a few weeks ago. Feels pretty solid so far. I’ve already had a college buy one having tried it. Have one thing in mind, the unlocked position is not locked, if it is not on a solid surface you will have it foot a bit as you type. But there is nothing claiming otherwise, in fairness.
