Best bang for buck bt speaker with some really neat extra features
I wanted a bluetooth speaker to use in my workshop so I can listen to some music while I work, and since it can get kind of noisy when I'm using some equipment/tools I needed something that can get loud enough.Well let me just say that this guy definitely gets loud! The sound profile is definitely tilted towards bass heavy but doesn't distort or overwhelm the mids/highs either. Don't expect studio reference quality audio, it's tuned for fun punchy bass good for rock/metal/r&b/action movies/etc. If I had a potential complaint involving the audio it would be that even on the lowest volume it's quite loud, with volume adjustment steps being rather coarse. I want my music loud anyway so not a problem, but I can see cases where this might be a bad thing if you just want to listen to relaxing stuff in a quiet small room without disturbing your neighbors. When it arrived it was actually a bit larger than I thought based off the pictures on the product page but for me that doesn't matter too much as it's just gonna sit on a table and doesn't need to be transported or anything like that.As for build quality this thing is built like a tank. The construction is made of plastic and metal both of which are nice and thick/heavy. The passive radiators on the sides are mounted to strong rubber so I'm not really worried of them getting damaged in normal use. The speakers themselves are mounted behind a metal grill so that's also good. The buttons on top have distinctive shapes you can easily use without looking at them, with a satisfying clickiness. Controls are logical if you've ever used a similar speaker. The bottom has nice rubber feet to prevent any movement when it's belting out strong bass. The back ports are covered with a rubber flap that seals them from any liquid (the unit is apparently ip waterproof rated). Not sure if I'd ever use this in a wet environment but it's never a bad thing to know it'd stand a good chance of surviving and dunk in water.USB C is used for charging which was pretty quick, fully charging in about two hours. Battery life is good enough for me to use for a few hours a day for a week without hitting the low battery warning. Now that's with the rgb led's off, but apparently even with then enabled you can still expect on the order of 10 hours or so. There are a few light effect modes that'll change color and flash along with the music, which I guess is a neat party trick but not something I will often use. The downside I've noticed is if you set a specific color mode the speaker won't remember it if you power off and on again. Not a big deal for me but may be annoying if you use the lighting feature a lot which will require a few extra button presses to get to the setting you want. One feature I really like is the right speaker led will momentarily light up when adjusting volume to show you the level. Such a simple feature but useful.Bluetooth connection is solid with the few tablets and phones I've tested with. I really like that it has an auxiliary audio input jack to plug in older non-bluetooth devices. I've plugged in some high-end minidisc portables and they sound absolutely fantastic. Also has a micro-sd card slot that can play mp3s directly off a memory card, will probably never use that feature but cool that I can if I ever wanted to.So do I think it's worth the asking price? Well comparing with similarly sized and performing portable bluetooth speakers like jbl makes this guy is significantly cheaper, like half the price or less. Sure maybe other big brand name speakers sound richer or have more advanced features like apps to adjust more settings but I really just need a tough but loud speaker with good battery life that'll take some abuse but keep on ticking. So far this one ticks those boxes for me without breaking my wallet.

The Best Quality Sounding Portable BlueTooth Speaker I Have Ever Purchased.
My first impression is that this is a clear step up over the TREBLAB HD77, which I used mainly previously. I don't have the terminology of an audiophile, so all I can really say is that it's got a fun sound that is roughly comparable to the JBL FLIP 5.Fit is the best I have had for a speaker, very easy to connect and get a good sound compared to my TREBLAB HD77 and my FLIP 5. I would compare this to the JBL FLIP 5, but it is less than 3x the price already sets it far above this BS010.Looks-wise, the speaker also looks a good deal better than the TREBLAB HD77. The black plastic face plate, solid, rubberized sides, and dynamic RGB both look just fine for the price point; nothing to complain about here. Its triangular design makes it more stable and less likely to be knocked over (better center of gravity). My BS010 was taken camping, beach, picnics, and thrown by my kids during tantrums and play, and survived with barely a scratch, the triangular design makes it easier to carry around.Sounds-wise, Compared to the HD77, it is easier to pick out details with these to my ears. Punchy bass, ordinary mids, high treble. The quality of the sound is markedly improved, not just in instrument separation, but in the sound itself. I believe you would call that clarity. Guitars, high hats, and cymbals, all sound a lot better with this compared to the HD77. The bass is punchy without being what I would describe as woofy. It doesn't sound distorted, and it doesn't appear to bleed much into the mid-range. I can hear the actual bass instruments, as opposed to just hearing bass noise like with my car speakers. The detail in the top end is very noticeably improved, I especially notice it in high hats and such. Much smoother sound, and more detail. Mids seem just fine, not what I would call recessed; It's got the same fun mid-bass boost most Bluetooth speakers have. It has two single mono speakers and two bass radiators.Pairing-wise, Nothing to say. If you’ve paired anything in your life, that’s it. Super simple. I paired to an iphone 13 and Samsung Galaxy S21 with zero delay/issue, and no disconnections within regularly stated ranges (66 feet). When you connect one speaker to your computer it can go by Bluetooth or by using the Aux cord.Playtime-wise, Battery life so far seems very good. After playing for eight hours, and then leaving it off overnight ... it still indicates 80%.As for the sound stage, which is how supposedly wide-open it feels, it is perhaps slightly better than the HD77. Due to its triangular shape, the audio is forward sounding, as opposed to all around you - and that is a good thing. And sometimes the speaker can sound thin, sometimes heavy. It all depends upon where it's placed. NOT A COMPLAINT! Trust me, that is the nature of sound.Over all, I am very pleased with my purchase of the Rythflo Portable Bluetooth Speaker. I recommend this to family, friends, and other people I care about.
