This dpHUE Gloss+ Toning Purple Conditioner is creamy and sticks to each hair well, ensuring an even toning. The formula is a very blue-purple, which seems to work very well to maintain an ashy, almost platinum blond. If you have a slightly warmer blond you may notice that this toner will cool it down, so be mindful of that. Overall I love the formula, however I am not a fan of the soapy, somewhat floral scent. Still, I think it is a good purchase and worth it even if I have to deal with a smell I do not love.

I’m not sure how I feel about this, especially given the price. First time using it, I didn’t pay attention to the fact I would need gloves. I thought this would be an easy color gloss conditioner to use in the shower, so using gloves seems kind of silly. However, it will stain your palms and nails and possibly even your shower if you don’t immediately clean up after. It does seem to do an okay job thing, but I keep getting nervous it’s going to stain my shower so I probably don’t leave it on long enough. It’s simply too pricy to be using so nervously.

After so much styling, my hair started to take a toll. It felt dull and lifeless. This has been key in providing back some much needed shine. Its easy to apply and my hair feels better than it did before. Also tones brassiness. The only con is that it does stain so its something to consider. Its one of those products I use when I have time.

Works a little bit to tone-down reddish hues, but it doesn’t last more than a few washes. The solution was too thick for the pump, making it very messy to use. Considering the cost and stain risk (stains walks and countertops), it doesn’t seem worth it.

I have very long hair that I keep dyed an ash blonde. I've probably used twenty different types of purple conditioner over the years, and had mixed results. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I really like this one. While I feel that the scent is a bit strong, I do like how my hair looks after I use it. It's not a drastic change as far as toning, but I do see a slight difference. I also love how soft it makes my hair feel.A little goes a long way, so this bottle should last me quite a while.

Based on how much I have used, this bottle will last quite awhile.The instructions were rather intimidating with the need for a 48 hour skin test. I shower daily, so keeping a patch of skin unwashed for 48 hours seemed impossible - so all I did was a skin test of a couple hours.The other part that was tricky was that they said to use on clean damp hair - which meant after the shower - but then I had to rinse it in the sink. That left me worried that I missed some and would end up with a patchy look. Based on my results, that is no longer a worry.The treatment left my hair feeling quite nice: soft and silky - very touchable.Color-wise, I did not see a huge difference. Mostly I was trying to tone down some post-summer brassiness where my hair had lightened from the sun. maybe I over-rinsed it, but the difference was very slight. Next use I will time it to be the full 5 minutes ( I did 4 the first time) and rinse my hair in the shower like normal.The only things I disliked were1) I had a tough time getting the pump dispenser to work, and2) it has a really strong perfume-y scent that was really overwhelming when waiting for the timer to end. Thankfully when the product is rinsed out the scent did not linger.
