I bought these support hinges for a TV cabinet that has a drop-down door at the front. The Amazon description stated as follows: Wide Application: Suitable for making furniture that flips, pulls down to open, and pulls up to open/close. I doubted that the same hinge would give damping for both drop-down and hinge-up doors, so I was prepared for the worst. Sure enough, when they arrived they provided soft-close for hinge-up doors only. So if you have a door that opens upwards, these hinges should work just fine out of the box. However, I needed soft-open for drop-down doors. As they were so cheap I decided to see if they can be modified to work for drop-down doors. And sure-enough, they can do so, with a very simple two minute job. Anyone with a modicum of common sense can do this but it will void any warranty, so please do this at your own risk. Place the hinge flat on a table with the Allen key bolt facing up, Undo the bolt with the key provided and swap the arm on the left over to the right hand side. So, the left arm is now the right arm! This reverses the resistance and enables you to use these hinges with a drop-down door. Please note there are some small pieces in the circular centre of hinge ( six small metal bearings/rollers) which will become loose in this process, so be ready to catch them and pop them back in (a pair of tweezers might help but I didn't need them myself). It's really very simple to do. Just take your time and with a little care anyone should be able to do it. Make sure all the pieces are aligned properly and re-tighten the Allen Bolt. They now work perfectly, providing good damping on a drop-down door. As I said, this will void any warranty, so please do this at your own risk. Hope that helps someone out.

Does the job, you do have to adjust them alittle but we only needed 1 hinge per top box. Which was good! As i ordered to per topbox.

No instructions at all on how you fix these together. They big screws wouldn’t screw in all the way and it even broke my screwdriver trying to put it together. Wouldn’t recommend

A bit basic, needs care to fit just right, and can catch trunk contents occasionally, but works much better than I expected. Good value.

The fixings when fitted work well The instructions to work out how to do this are terrible Do not rely on these - shame really as proper instructions aren’t hard to provide - very poor attention to detail from manufacturers

J'ai commandé ces charnières pour réparer la porte supérieure de mon poulailler, qui ne tenait plus ouverte. Même si elles sont prévues à l'origine pour des portes de placard, elles remplissent parfaitement leur rôle dans cette utilisation. La qualité de fabrication est au rendez-vous : les charnières sont robustes, bien finies et inspirent confiance dès l'installation. Une fois montées, elles maintiennent facilement la porte ouverte et le mécanisme fonctionne de manière fluide. Après plusieurs jours d'utilisation, rien n'a bougé. Elles semblent conçues pour durer et offrent un excellent maintien malgré une utilisation différente de celle prévue. Je les recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui cherchent des charnières de support solides, que ce soit pour un meuble ou pour un projet de bricolage nécessitant un bon maintien.

Comme à chaque fois, merci Amazon, Acheté pour remplacer le mécanisme d'origine qui vient de chez ikea, marque ferrari klot. les marchands les vendent à prix d'or. Ici, ici, il fallu un peu bricoler (c'est à dire ne pas utiliser les trous déjà présent. mais au final, cela fonctionne. j'avoue que le mode d'emploi n'est pas clair pour positionner le mécanisme et que pas non plus de mode d'emploi pour monter le mécanisme en lui même. founis avec des vis et rondelles supplémentaire. j'ai donc un peu galérer pour fixer la 1er si bien que j'ai du recommencer tous mes trous; mais pour la deuxième, un jeu d'enfant , la deuxième a été posée en 15 minutes. j'espère que ca durera dans le temps, pas comme celle de chez ikea qui ont très vite rendu l'âme.

Non è una "cerniera", bensì un supporto di apertura, che tiene aperto verso l'altro uno sportello a battuta. Facile da montare e da regolare, funziona bene, basta "stringere" un po' più del minimo necessario, per avere una funzione stabile.
