Slippery when wet and blunts knives
I brought this to replace plastic chopping boards to reduce the risk of microplastics in my food. Unfortunately, when cutting vegetables the surface quickly becomes wet causing them to slide about annd making them difficult to cut. Also seems to have blunted my knives. Would not recommend. Will be sticking to wooden boards in future

it is NOT Titanium - it's 304 stainless steel.
I bought this expecting it to be stainless steel despite the many references to it being Titanium in the description. In the picture it shows it is 304 Stainless steel which is the most common type of steel available.I have been using it and it does what I expected it to. It has scratched almost immediately but it hasn't damaged my knives and it is easy to clean and goes nicely into the dishwasher.I just wish the seller would be honest about what it is. I thought it was against the law to mislead purchasers and I can see how others might be fooled into thinking they were purchasing titanium. As it is I am not 100% certain it is even a safe stainless steel because if the sellers can be so vague and misleading about the makeup of this item then it could potentially be toxic? Because once you start being untrustworthy then nothing you say can be relied upon. This is a shame because if this is a safe stainless steel product then it is quite good value and works well. The sellers are letting themselves and the potential customer down here - whichever way you look at it.
