Saw this on a homebrew channel on YouTube. They highly recommended it so thought I would give it a go... Note this was my first attempt at brewing beer. I didn't follow the instructions that came with the product...I followed YouTube step by step.... The outcome amazing.... As good as any lager you get from a pub... Note, once it was ready I transferred it to a Kegerator (draught refrigerated system). The seal of approval was my lager drinking mate who loved it. I've just ordered another one, it's that good. There are cheaper kits out there but for the extra why risk it and be kicking myself whilst trying to get through 40 pints of poorer lager. Hope this helps.

The instructions stated letting it brew for about a week... it took over a week to even start bubbling and then didnt stop until nearly 4 weeks after starting (any internet search will tell you not to bottle until the bubbling has subsided to avoid exploding bottles etc). The instructions say to add very little hop extract; the instructions on the side of the bottle though don't say the same thing (I followed the bottle instructions and added extra).I then transferred to a bottling container and added a sugar solution as instructed to help carbonation.After 2 weeks in the bottles I opened the first one and it pretty much exploded everywhere; over carbonated - the internet reckons it was bottled too early (despite being bottled considerably later than stated). The beer was slightly cloudy (which is fine) but was bland and not hoppy at all (despite adding excess compared to the kit instructions).It is alcoholic; I took it to work and ran it through a GC analyser to get an exact value... about 3.6% alcohol.Fine enough for a first attempt but won't be buying this one again.

This is a great homebrew kit, it's a good larger kit but doesn't require the low temps that usual larger kits require. This kit was easy to brew and after a few weeks aging tastes amazing. Well worth a try for anyone who enjoys homebrewing

Brought as a present for my husband. Not used this one yet but he loved the pale ale one. Very easy to do and economical as you get a lot of beer.

It is a nice tasting beer but had no instructions with it so had to guess basically all stages of the beer making process . And when used the priming sugar was added to main barrel it over flowed wouldn't buy again

Tasty brew possibly needed to stand for while longer than stated before opening.
