Tommy Hilfiger Men's Classic Puffer Jacket

Ordered the Small Midnight/Navy but received one in Black/Olive instead. Tag on sleeve read Color: Mid so really the manufacturer's fault, not Amazon's. Their rep was very helpful about offering a return but as the color combo I wanted is not currently available in my size, for its $55.99 sale price I'll happily hold onto this jacket. Some other reviewers mentioned a potential problem with the zippers getting snagged or separating or whatever. Was wary of ordering on this account but unit I received is fine: the insertion pins engage properly and neither the bib, front, or pocket sliders get caught in their surrounding plackets. Only little niggle is that unlike some other TH puffers, the zipper colors are not customized to coordinate with the garments' but are all black. Obviously this is not a problem with the outer shell on the unit I recieved, only against the interior olive bib is the black zipper is at all noticeable. Don't mind that too much in this case but as the thumbnail pics indicate, on the jacket's lighter color combos the black zippers really stand out and IMHO detract from its appearance, though I guess some guys might be okay with the sporty look. Also there is no [interior] breast pocket, just the two front hand warmer pockets you can see in the thumbnails. Perhaps the inner bib's design precluded such a feature but I really miss having a dedicated pocket there for my wallet. The down-alternative synthetic fill in this model seems to me a bit more puffy than on the [non-bibbed&hooded] Tommy Hilfiger Men's Ultra Loft Quilted Packable Jacket with the brick pattern quilting — though the apparent difference might only be due to the way they're sewn, hard to tell. Anyway I'm 6', 190lbs and this Small is certainly long enough for me in both the tail and sleeves, plus so roomy that I can comfortably stuff in a bulky base layer. So wouldn't exactly call this jacket "slim fitting" though at least it's not terribly oversized. The vertical side panels look like they'd be elasticized but unfortunately are not, could have reduced some of the excess bulk around the waist for the less portly of us. Otherwise it's cut pretty well, I can move my arms without feeling restricted and the hood works okay despite not having a drawstring. Light weight and terrific warmth along with easy care instructions makes it a decent candidate for winter sport. Really like the contrasting vertically stitched quilting over the shoulders, a design detail shared with Hilfiger's pricier "faux leather" puffer. So overall not a bad purchase despite a couple quibbles. Quality and styling better than anticipated, even if I did not receive in color ordered.

AMAZING TOMMY HILFIGER COAT.....AMAZING PRICE....I purchased this coat recently, and could not be happier with it. It is a typical puffer coat. The coat is not filled with down feathers or faux down feathers. It is filled with polyester, therefore, the coat is for cooler days, but not the deep freeze of the winter. That being said, it is still a GREAT coat. I paid $48 for the coat in the color NAVY. It is a deep navy blue. Beautiful color. I saw it at Macys for $225. Yes, that's right, and I paid $48. I also received it in two days with Amazon Prime shipping. I love the classic Tommy Hilfiger insignia on the chest area of the coat. It's discreet, but lets everyone know you're wearing a quality coat!!!! The coat is a SLIM FITTING coat, The shoulders are also a bit narrow. I purchased, and usually wear a size Large, but had to return it, and get an XL. Buy a size larger than you usually wear. I am 6'0" (six feet tall) and weigh 195lbs. I have small shoulders, and the XL fit well. If you have broad shoulders, you may need an XXL. Either way, it doesn't matter. Amazon has the easiest return policy on the planet. Purchase this coat. Got this coat on a nice sale earlier in the winter, and after wearing it for a few months I hope I can give a helpful review. I'll start with a disclaimer: in the past, I've been a "tough guy" (read: idiot) who never wears a coat in the winter, so maybe I just like this coat so much because I've been warmer than usual this winter. With that out of the way, I am very impressed with this coat. I got this one because I liked the look of it and it was on sale for $60. It is definitely a quality product; it's well-constructed and seems durable. The coat fit just as I had thought it would. I'm 6'0" (183 cm) and weigh about 150 pounds (68 kg), and a medium fit me just right. I live in western Illinois, and it was a fairly mild winter here, so I can't speak to whether it will hold up in extreme cold. But when the temperature got into the teens I was still plenty warm. I'm no coat connoisseur, but I couldn't be more happy with my purchase and if you catch this coat at $60 it's a no-brainer!

Great jacket. The shoulders are a little snug, I take a medium, but for the price that I got it, I can put up with a minor inconvenience. I purchased the jacket pre-cyber Monday at 75% reduced price. Wore it out this morning and it kept me warm. I could pull down the cuffs to keep my hands warm -- in lieu of gloves. Oh, it also came with its own hangar, which is a plus.

Its a nice jacket but large a little bit Usually I wear XL But this jacket it's big for me, and I give it to my brother as a gift he like it. For me I will order another size already did but this time L size because I went to Tommy Hilfiger store And I tried L size it's very good size, for the fabric,style and looks great, I really recommended this jacket. Quality and warmth are very good. But fit is not. I’m 6 feet 185 lbs and normally wear a large. The large had sleeves that were way too thin, tight and short. I returned it for XL. Sleeves on XL are okay but body is too big. Body of coat is for a much heavier person. There is something weird about the design. Seems like the sleeves of the XL should be put on the L. Perhaps these are for young people. I’m old. The cuffs on the sleeves are very good. Just the fit is not good for me.

This a nice coat. Material and construction are top notch. The knit cuffs and knit lining on the collar are a great touch. I measure 6'1", 225 lbs., 35" sleeve. The sleeves were just a tad short for my reach. Actually, for the combination of reach and weight. The sleeves were fine with my arms hanging down to the side, but tended to ride up my arm when my arms were extended to the front like when reaching to the steering wheel. Maybe if I were 5, or definately 10 lbs lighter with a little more give in the shoulders it would have been fine. I ended up sending it back. I wish they had tall sizes. Like I said, this is a nice coat.

I was anticipating this coat to arrive because I've seen similar ones before and it looked awesome. It is not down but down alternative. Tommy hilfiger uses Ultra Loft insulation for their jackets and I went outside at 35 Degrees F with this on to test and it kept me warm and was not one bit cold. It is very light and the puffer looks amazing because it props up and looks more filled as compared to other puffer jackets where it looks wrinkled and not filled. There are two zippers which is a very nice design because it adds extra color to the jacket and a 2nd look. The 2nd zipper is directly behind the 1st one but is on the lighter blue color. I would give this 10 stars if I could - Also 100% authentic Tommy hilfiger, verified the tags as well. Would recommend this jacket to anyone.
