How do the microbes survive the stomach acid?

Our probiotic is brewed to a ph (acidity) of 3.2 which is the same as stomach acid, so the living microbes are not affected, in fact they naturally survive.

Why do you add so many ingredients to your brews?

A combination of microbes and herbs is powerful. Diversity, abundance and generosity are in nature; these qualities are also in our brews. We know that every microbiome is unique, and microbes will help the body access what nutrients it needs.

Sometimes my probiotic is fizzy when I open it. Is it okay to drink it and does it still work?

Our hand-brewed probiotics, made in small batches, may taste differently. The fizz that occurs in some of the bottles is from secondary fermentation, showing the bacteria are alive, active, and the product is safe and effective to drink.

My probiotic sometimes has little white bits in it. What are these and is it still okay to take it?

The white bits in your probiotic are normal. Anaerobic bacteria form a "skin" when exposed to air, protecting themselves. This sediment shows the bacteria are alive and active. It's safe to drink without affecting the product's effectiveness.
