Best emergency generator i have used so far
Lived off it for a month due to impact from a hurricane and its works well as an emergency back up. It is quiet in eco mode compared to others that i have used. Its relatively light so it very portable and best of all it has the display that shows the hours used so you can keep track of maintenance. For the price its great. Wish it had a larger either 2 to 4 galon tank but that would have increased the weight

Defective
Upon opening the package, we were met with a strong fuel odor. Touching the item also "contaminated" one's hands. We thought it might be from manufacturer test running it. After airing out several days and weather-permitting, brand new canister of premixed 50:1 ethanol-free 92 octane fuel was poured into the tank. Generator wouldn't start following the startup process in the manual. Bottom of the carburetor became dripping wet. Possibly a stuck carburetor needle. Took off air filter cover. Noticed a crack around where carburetor was attached to the chassis and a flange nut (8 on parts list) was loose. Tapped the carburetor few times. Aired out both the cylinder and spark plug for a several days. Spark plug gapped at 0.6mm, narrower than indicated in the manual. Re-gapped it. Tried to start it again. This time carburetor stayed dry but still wouldn't start. Put in a new saprk plug. No luck. Pull cord was getting worn out by all the pulling. Started the return process.

Nice little unit will fill my needs well
Weighs about 60 lbs dry. Comes without any fluids, so pick up some 5w-30 and gasoline. It takes 20oz of oil and 1.6 gal of gas. Comes with a funnel and spark plug "wrench." I put in oil and gas today and being an excited idiot, tried starting it without turning on the fuel valve. After a few tries, I checked the manual, and there it is, turn this lever to ON. After that, it started right up. It runs relatively quiet, but in ECO mode it quiets down nicely. At first startup it ran a little rough (vibration), but soon settled into a nice idle. So far, seems like a quality generator.

Works great for what it is! A cheap inverter generator!
First off, I have several (4) of these and use them in my handyman trailers. They’re great for a small compact generator. It’s rated at 4400 watts and does just that. I can run my pancake compressor, mitre saw a table saw without an overload condition. My recent one just hit 150 hours and my oldest, a 3 year old unit has 1500 hours on it. The only maintenance I’ve had to do is oil changes and I swapped out the spark plugs to NGK’s and noticed a running difference. The biggest downfall for these is noise under medium to heavy load. They scream pretty loud and the second complaint is fuel use. Under heavy load, you’ll only get 3.5-4 hours on a tank of fuel. These are ideal for construction, general use and certainly good for emergency outages. Do yourself a favor and drain them of fuel if your going to leave them sit for any length of time.

Great small backup generator
I got this to use as a backup generator for my house. It powers my refridgerator, garage lights/door opener, gas baseboard heater & some important lights with no problem. I am using 10W30 oil in it due to the temperature in the northern part of the US where I live.
