This is a nice size, well made storage box for medicine, or in my case for art supplies, and it would make an equally good sewing box, too.It's a smooth, nicely moulded box, made of polypropylene, which allows some flexibility in use, so this doesn't feel like a brittle, cheap plastic, and the finish of the rounded corners and domed lid is attractive.I ordered this in the hopes it would allow room to stand bottles of art inks safely upright, and it works well, still allowing the insert tray to fit in, giving lots of room to store dip pens, nibs and ink brushes, with room for all the extra little bits I need. It works very well to keep the current selection of inks at hand.I've dropped one 🌟 only for a slight niggle over the hinge on the closing clasp. The box relies on the clasp being secure as the carry handle is fixed into the lid, and it works perfectly well. The main lid hinges are the clip on type, where the fixed plastic bars snap into curved hinges, and they're really solid and secure. A similar type of snap-on hinge is used on the clasp, and it relies on two small plastic crescents that clip on to a bar to create the lever hinge to close it ~ I just wondered how sturdy this connection would be over time. I'm not using it to carry anything heavy, so I think it will be fine; it's not designed to carry a lot of weight.This is a decent quality storage box that looks good, and knowing how expensive the better designed and manufactured, layered plastic storage boxes cost I think the price at time of review of £18.99 is in the right price range. It's a neat box I will get lots of use from.

I use this box for my nail products. It’s sturdy and compact. But the latch that closes it was damaged. I believe the seller knew it was damaged when dispatching it, because it was cracked in two places and not even attached to the box (which is impossible if it’s pushed into the fitting correctly).I really couldn’t be bothered with the inconvenience of sending it back, and just glued it together with strong glue. So far it’s been ok, but would have been better not damaged.Another seller chancing that they will get away with selling faulty goods, hoping that the purchaser hasn’t got time to send it back!!
