I had to try this out after hearing so many brilliant things about it. The product arrived quickly, I was pleased with the service. On opening the packaging the beauty blender and its little tub (the packaging) did look a little smaller than I expected, I measured the tub at approximately 5.5cm tall, 4.5cm diameter. First impressions were still good though, it is so soft and bouncy, so much more 'spring' in it than other sponge-type applicators I have used previously. I ran the BB under the tap and started to squeeze and as if by magic it grew! My saturated BB measures approximately 7cm tall and 5cm diameter. So it has outgrown it's little tub but the packaging can be used as a little stand to air dry the BB. It is still super spongey and springy, applied my foundation, concealer and powder flawlessly, great airbrush finish. It is fantastic! I'm definitely converted. In love. Will definitely repurchase when the time comes! I am under the impression that people who have complained about the size of this product HAVE NOT saturated the BB, as it does grow considerably when run under water as the instructions suggest. Also, just to add, I have used the BB with a spray of Mac Fix+ to keep that dewy look with my more matte foundations/concealers and it's worked just perfectly!

I've been using the BeautyBlender for about two months now, as I wanted to be able to comment on its many uses. Starting with USING IT FOR APPLYING LIQUID FOUNDATION - it gives a beautiful, airbrushed look. However, the max you can get is a medium coverage and a downside is that the BeautyBlender absorbs A LOT of product. This can be especially annoying if you use high-end makeup. I'd say, on average, when I apply my foundation with a stippling or a kabuki brush, I need about three squirts of product. When I am using the BeautyBlender I need about four squirts to achieve the same medium coverage look. In terms of BLENDING OUT (UNDER-EYE) CONCEALER - it's a superb tool. I love how deep into the skin the BeautyBlender is able to get the concealer. I have found no other product that can apply my concealer with a smooth finish as well as the BeautyBlender and I now use only the BeautyBlender to make sure my dark circles and bags are covered! The BeautyBlender can also be used to APPLY SETTING POWDER ON THE T-ZONE AND IN THE UNDER-EYE AREA. I'd say it's OK at getting the product there, but it makes it look cakey, so you really do need ideally a brush to apply and then brush away any extra product, so the BeautyBlender cannot be your "go-to" item for this purpose. However, it's OK if you're in a rush and can't find any other application tool. The final way I've tried using the BeautyBlender is to CONTOUR AND HIGHLIGHT. My opinion here is divided - the BeautyBlender works wonderfully, if your bronzer and highlighter are cream (for example the L.A. Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer, Espresso 8 g ). However, if they are powdered (for example the theBalm Balm Bronzer/Blush, Desert 6.39 g) ), the BeautyBlender just cakes up the product and leaves your face looking extremely blotchy. So, when contouring and highlighting with a BeautyBlender, just be careful what type of product you use. I have given this four stars, because when I tried to just wash out the products under running water (very bad for the environment, may I add) nothing happened. The stains remained. The water was also quite pink, so don't worry of this happens to you too - the original bright pink colour does fade away with usage (and it makes me question, if its safe to have that much paint in a product we apply to our faces, but that is a different story altogether). So I searched on YouTube for advise and saw that some people leave the BeautyBlender in a cup with water and baby shampoo overnight and rinse it out in the morning. I tried that, but then the BeautyBlender broke and now the bottom of it is unusable (see images attached). I am well upset over this, as I liked using the bottom part of the BeautyBlender to apply my liquid foundation on my forehead, cheeks and neck. Most of the stains tend to go away if I leave the BeautyBlender in water with baby shampoo for two days (changing the water after one day), but to be honest, I want to use the product, not watch it sit in a cup on my windowsill. So now I just have to live with a broken, stained BeautyBlender. At least it has a holding station (that comes with the item when you purchase it) that is very handy, as it makes sure the BeautyBlender stays atop of all other things you might have lying around. Lastly, let me say that when you initially get it, it's very small (see images attached with the BeautyBlender next to a shower gel bottle for size comparison). But once you've moistened it - it gets a lot bigger (again, see images attached with the BeautyBlender next to a shower gel bottle for size comparison) and actually, it never returns to the original size it arrived (I guess, because there is always a bit of moisture in the air, so the BeautyBlender can never be truly dry). Overall, I'd say I don't regret buying the original BeautyBlender, so I can see what the fuss is all about. However, I do not believe I will repurchase. I will probably look for alternatives that are (hopefully) cheaper, as I do not feel this product offers enough innovation and ingenuity to warrant such a high asking price. It's a product I'll have to bin after six months of use (due to health and safety reasons), so I'd basically need two of these a year - that is about £25.00, which could buy me a good quality makeup brush that I'd be able to use longer than a year! So don't recommend, but don't mind having either.

After all the hype around the BeautyBlender and being caught between this and the more reasonably prices real techniques version, I decided to give this product a go. First the delivery was brilliant. I ordered the item in the morning and received it the next day. When I first opened the package, I was surprised to find the sponge much smaller than I expected. However after holding under the water and squeezing the excess liquid out the sponge doubled in size. I wanted to use the BeautyBlender for a few months before reviewing and I must say I do not know what took me so long. My skin looks airbrushed constantly. There is something about applying your foundation on with this damp sponge. I do not get the caky look at all anymore, and find that I can build my foundation as much as needed without being worried about my skin looking caked up. I have now used this daily for five months and it has still retained its shape and quality. I will recommend this product to everyone and will be repurchasing.

Great for sponge application of make up. Lasts MUCH longer than cheaper similar sponges. Yes, I know sponges waste more make up but I haven't got the hack of using brushes. I like the cover up sponges give better anyway. I use this daily, dampening it before every use as instructed. I store it in the plastic pot it came in so as not to get leaked eyeliner or mascara all over it as they mix in my make up bag! However this has proved to be a bad mistake, as now after repeatedly pulling the sponge from the pot to use it, has caused it to split in half! How else can I store it to keep it clean? Maybe a ziplock bag?

This product was amazing at first, but I found that it quickly deteriorates (from someone who only wears make-up maybe once or twice a week.) and they are too expensive to be buying all the time. In texture and effect though, it is definitely superior to any of its competitors, and I wouldn't go for a cheaper alternative. It makes my make-up super smooth looking.

Tja was soll ich sagen :D ich liebe ihn .. Als mein freund und ich in der Drogerie waren und er dein Preis von beinah 20€ gesehen hat für dieses kleine Ding verdrehte er erstmals die Augen und fragte mich ob es tatsächlich mein ernst sei 😂 daraufhin hab ich auf Amazon geschaut obs preislich nicht "billiger" wäre .. Die Rezensionen sprechen Eindeutig für sich und deshalb musste ich ihn auch haben. . Die Handhabung is super einfach .. hab bisher make up pinsel verwendet .. Und das Ergebnis hat mich nie 100% überzeugt vorallem bei Nase und die Stelle zwischen den Augenbrauen. . Es war nie das was i mir vorgestellt hab .:-S Mit dem bb hab ich es endlich so hin bekommen wie ich immer schon wollte.. Es macht so ein Eben mäßiges hautbild und arbeitet sich richtig wunderschön rein .. Selbst bei meinen sonst eher trockenen Problem stellen wie oben beschrieben . Nichts setzt sich ab .. Es is so wunderschön gleichmäßig.. Da mein freund ja davor so geschockt war musste ich ihm ja schließlich das Ergebnis zeigen .. Sogar er meinte das es unglaublich schön aussieht und so als ob man fast kein make up, consealer oben hätte :D also er ist jz auch begeistert .. Einfach nass machen ab trocknen und los geht's :) Ich benutze auch ein sehr teures make up und man hat davor schon nicht viel davon gebraucht .. Mit dem bb braucht man noch weniger .. Klare kauf Empfehlung.. Hätte ich nicht gedacht

Ich hatte eigentlich erwartet, hier eine Fälschung zu bekommen, aber es ist tatsächlich ein original Beauty Blender. Sieht ganz witzig aus mit den Strudeln, aber er hat natürlich die selben Vorteile und Problemchen wie die anderen originalen Beauty Blender auch: leider lässt er sich einfach schlecht reinigen. Die fake Blender, die in der Regel feinporiger sind, sind einfach besser zu säubern. Ich finde diesen allerdings viel besser als die "Nude" Variante, von der ich extrem enttäuscht war - der Swirl hat kleinere Poren und saugt so viel weniger Foundation ein. Mal sehen, ob ich mich doch noch an das Original gewöhne 😉 (schon passiert 😅). War zuvor nie ein großer Fan und konnte den Hype nicht so recht nachvollziehen. Aber mittlerweile liebe ich den originalen Beauty Blender, und wem es ebenso geht, wird hier sicher glücklich mit, es handelt sich definitiv nicht um eine Fälschung, wie so oft in den Amazon Rezensionen der pinken und schwarzen Varianten zu lesen ist. Habe diesen gekauft bei Heidi Surprise. PS habe mir noch einen 2. bestellt, es gibt hier echte kleine Unikate 😊, das Muster fällt wohl jedes Mal komplett unterschiedlich aus. Super süß!
