Excellent tea pot
Very nice tea pot. Very aesthetically pleasing, easy to use and keeps the tea nice and hot especially if you pre heat the tea pot with hot water first. Definitely would recommend

Coppery varnish not dish washer safe
This is the third double-walled tea pot of the same built that I bought. But this was my first with the beautiful coppery look. Unfortunately, the tea pot has a small drawback: "not suitable for dish washer". Can't blame the seller of course, because he/she was very clear and honest about that. I tried it anyway... and had the coppery coloured varnish peel sticking in my dish washer. Just giving this information for others with the same idea...

Rather pricey, but of good quality!
I love this range, having owned the coffee pot for a number of years now and being very happy with it I decided I would like to purchase the teapot to match. Unfortunately the teapot is double the price of the coffee pot and I couldn’t warrant or foresee me ever paying that sort of money for it. However, after receiving a gift voucher for my birthday I decided to bite the bullet! The teapot arrived well packaged yesterday and on time. I haven’t used it yet, but if it’s anything like the coffee pot it will have a thumbs up from me.

No different to a normal teapot
I was really hoping that this would keep the tea warmer for longer but it’s not actually as good as our regular ceramic teapot in maintaining temperature. Have even tried warning with boiling water and using a tea cosy but it makes no difference.

Classy product with nice pour
this is a great teapot. It looks good, cleans well and pours well. The only drawback is that the lid gets very hot (the rest is insulated) but once you are aware of this then it is a lovely teapot.

Lovely but flawed
I really dislike giving this teapot a mediocre star rating. The company that supplied it are exemplary, courteous and caring. But: dislike it's good looks ( the copper is still shiny and untarnished after six months), this is a classic case of style over content. I bought it to use as a coffee pot, but this didn't work out. I would only ever need to make about half to two thirds of a pot, and after pouring out a couple of cups, the contents would't keep 'hot' for long, hot enough to be palatable, but not the way I like coffee. A full pot of tea though, fares better, simply because of the greater volume.I make tea by warming the pot, putting in tea, stirring, allowing to brew, taking off the lid for a final stir, then pouring. My habit of oh so many years, that of securing the lid with my finger as I pour, is difficult to break. And here is the problem: the lid is totally uninsulated, allowing heat to escape, and the lid to become too hot to touch, or to handle. To be fair to the teapot, it doesn't make extravagant claims to keep it's contents piping hot, and the lid fits very well, so is unlikely to fall off.But not being able to touch the lid for fear of a bit of a shock, and having to make larger volumes of tea or coffee, to minimise heat loss, make this teapot a disappointment. It does pour beautifully though, and the finish is excellent, although the shiny, curved surface might detract early morning narcissists.Update: I've been using this teapot daily for two years. The copper coloured lamination has been lifting, particularly on the spout, for some months. One day perhaps, it will be a shiny steel teapot, hopefully just as copper kitchen accessories go out of fashion once again.

Excellent
Beautiful teapot, terrific quality, looks fabulous, doesn’t drip when pouring and keeps tea hot so you can get a second cup without reheating. Very happy and pleased with it.
