Great beer
Love this beer but couldn't find it locally. Nice strong taste. Bottles are nice and look good. Packaged really well and long dated.

Tastes amazing, if you are in 2 minds, buy it, it doesn't disappoint
If you have never tasted this before, try it... it doesn't disappoint. If you have, then this review is pointless as you likely searched for it because you like it. For me, this is one of the best beers going, extremely difficult to limit yourself to just the one. Sadly Amazon has had trouble delivering glass bottles to me recently... lots of breakage, but this is becoming increasingly difficult to find in supermarket.

My all time favourite beer is Erdinger Dunkel
My all time favourite beer is Erdinger Dunkel. Just a shame it can be so expensive buying online, probably due to the weight of shipping it. It's a lovely dark drink with undertones off toffee, liquorice and caramel but none of the horrible aftertaste that some strong beers can have. Would recommend anyone to try it.

A decent dunkelweizen
Dunkelweizen is not easy to get hold of in the UK unless you are a member of a specialist beer club. This is probably the only brand you are likely to find in supermarkets or through mainstream suppliers. Erdinger dunkel though is a decent example of the style and the price is not too bad.

Refreshing flavour
Excellent beer, well worth a chance for all beer drinkers. Try a slice of lemon in it, especially when it's really hot weather.

Hard to beat this!
I first drank Dunkel Beer in Bavaria and loved it! I brought home a few bottles of Konig Ludwig Dunkel beer and savoured them!I was really please when I found I could get Erdinger Dunkel Beer online, so I bought a case. Really glad I did! Whilst the first sip may taste a little strange, the taste is truly unique amongst beers/lagers.Sorry I can't give an expert discursion on how aromatic the malt etc are: All I know is that the blend really appeals to my taste buds. I love it and highly recommend it.

Erdinger
I used to drink Erdinger when I lived in Swakopmund, Namibia. Loved the taste, so decided to purchase when I saw it on Amazon. Was not disappointed, still a great beer.
