MistKing ULTIMATE Misting System v4.0

We employ this system for an indoor garden to keep relative humidity (RH) at acceptable levels. It's automated, very 'user friendly', and expandable. Pictured is the quad nozzle (ordered from Mist King) I wish I had known about this system years ago. If you're on the proverbial fence about a MistKing system. Take a chance as I did. Reading many reviews prior to purchase, I was left with the opinion that programming the seconds timer would be a monumental task. This is not the case. Spend three minutes with the instruction book and you'll be off to the races. Enjoy your MistKing.

Everything I needed and more in one modular misting kit! I upgraded my Blue Tongue Skink from a 40g tank to a 90g when my old monsoon misting kit finally quit working for good (it was a finicky device but it served it's purpose and I certainly got my money's worth out of it so I won't bash it here,) and so I took it as a sign that it was time to finally upgrade my misting kit as well, and holy cow I am so glad that I did!!! A few tips for anyone purchasing this system: - Read the Manual! It is very informative and easy to understand. I think that I would have wasted tubing if I guessed my way through this setup. - If the nozzles don't work initially, soak them in vinegar. This did the trick for one of mine that was giving me problems. If there is any calcium buildup in there, the acidity of the vinegar will dissolve it. - Use distilled or rain water! This ties in with the last point, but it is important that the water you use has fewer minerals so as to prevent calcium/mineral buildup. I have been collecting rain water for my system since the plants I am growing prefer the more acidic pH levels that is typical for rain water in my area. All in all, this is a great system for anyone looking to go pro on their terrariums, and I would recommend this kit specifically for it's level of value. It includes: Reference Manual (READ IT), 3 nozzles with T connectors, the awesome zip-drip solenoid which is worth it by the way as it removes water from the tubing when not in use which helps prevent that mineral buildup I keep mentioning as well as nozzle dripping, the 75psi pro pump (which can run even when dry so no need to worry about running out of water and ruining the pump, and it can also accommodate up to 20 nozzles so if you need to expand then you are still covered), 25 feet of 1/4" black opaque tubing, a tubing cutter for easy tube cutting (lol), Reservoir Bulkhead, Shutoff Valve, 10 tubing clips with screws that can be used to pin down the tubing to both facilitate in a cleaner aesthetic as well as to prevent any potential noise caused by vibration, and an awesome programmable digital seconds timer with a manual (read this manual as well. Do not be put off by the price. This thing will be working for ten years after you buy it, most likely, whereas the cheaper models will crap out within a year. You get what you pay for! The nozzle quality, fine mist spray, and pump timer system are all top of the line, and this company does not play around with what they’re giving you. My only complaint would be better instructions, as I had to look up a few YouTube guides before I felt confident with the paper that was included, but I learn better from a visual medium anyone, so I can’t fault them too much for that!

Perfect product. Just watch out the first time you plug the hose and the sprayers that everythin is locked. Turn and locked further (further that you may thing), or you will have some kind of water explosion like me !!!

I personally prefer the old plug in style timer better. The pump controller is tedious to use, requiring ten or eleven button pushes to manually override on/off. Aside from that, it's a quality product. My other 3 mist king pumps have given me years of flawless service with minimal maintenance. Use Reverse osmosis or distilled water. The nozzles do not like hard water
