Not used it yet but, it's made from hard plastic. I wouldn't tighten clamps to tight. Appears to be a goo# tool.

This is a pretty good kit. It works well and does the job. I thought the adapters would be more like hard rubber but they are actually a hard plastic. This isn't an issue if you use a hose to connect into the turbo system but I ran into an issue with the 1.4l where I didn't want to use the hose and the adapters really dont work well without it. Overall the pressure gauge seems accurate and everything does what it is supposed to.

I ordered this set for my son, who’s a mechanic. He’s really happy with it and says it helps him get his job done easier and faster.

The edges of the plugs are a sharp 90. no radius on them. So if you tube is tight you could damage the ID of it trying to slide it on.There is not a rib or barb on these, hoses can slip off if you dont the hose clamp supper tight. I had a hard time trying to get 40 psi built up until I really torqued down on the hose clamps

This is a nice leak down kit. The quality is a step above HF so not bad at all Very complete and easy to use and comes with a nice storage case. Works well and should fit about any kind of turbo'd vehicle.

We've got one of the 3.5 Ecoboost units and this kit worked great for checking the boost leakage, given the variety of inserts, it'll also be handy for checking other turbos if/when they need looked at.
