Camera is very good quality and was easy to set-up and install.Setting up:Plug in the camera and leave to charge.Place a micro sd card into the slot near the charging port to allow saving of images and recordings if desired.Download the mobile app and follow the instructions to set-up and connect it to your wifi network (only works with 2.4Ghz wifi).Install the camera using the supplied screws in your preferred location.Access the camera through the app to view live stream and adjust motion detection or other settings as required.Overview:High quality image resolution with built in solar panel which keeps the camera battery charged up. I found detection to be good and alerts are received in real time through the app via a notification on your phone. The camera automatically switches to night vision when dark and there are options in the app to turn on a light, speak through the camera microphone and activate a siren. There are options for cloud storage if needed (subscription required). Overall I am pleased with this product and would recommend.

This is a quality product for a very reasonable price. It took a bit of persuasion (several attempts at the 'present QR code to camera lens' stage) to get the camera to connect to my home wifi (not sure why), but the connection was solid once made. The camera is now mounted on an outside wall about 20m from the router but works absolutely fine.Just check that the camera works Ok in the intended location before you go to the trouble of fixing it permanently. I made a wooden "plinth" that I fixed to the wall with two screws, then fixed the camera to the plinth. Much easier than trying to drill four holes accurately into brick/mortar.The app has lots of options so it took a bit of time to set up the alerts how I wanted them. You can view the state of charge of the battery via the app. It comes with a USB charging cable but you will probably never need it once the camera is installed. Image quality is impressive. We'll just have to see how well the camera stands up to the weather! Based on initial experience, highly recommended.

These are brilliant and so easy to set up. Very good instructions in the booklet and to download the company App. Setting the actual camera and connection to your phone is given to you by voice control from the camera, very straightforward. I have put 128gb micro memory cards into ours but probably didn't need such size as we've set the camera only to record on detection. Great that they also come with USB cables. The camera comes with wall brackets giving full on angle adjustment. Can be unscrewed if USB charger needed through the winter months. The display on your phone gives all information about the camera and battery charging status. Very good looking and quality camera. My only gripe is to join the camera cloud it is £59 P/A when a micro card will record everything for you onto your phone and at £15 for a pack of 2x128gb. Otherwise these cctv cameras are brilliant and very clear pictures/videos They are set up in a matter of minutes, just have your home wifi password at hand. Definitely Recommended.

Good camera for price, solar and batt work well never have flat battery which was a concern with using solar in uk. Image quality is reasonable but could be improved specially when zooming in. Could do will upper lid to prevent rain sitting on lens . Very easy to install and use, app is okay but do get pop ups asking to upgrade or purchase subscription but annoying. Overall reasonable camera, good price and easy to set up.

This looked like an ideal solution for placing a camera in a location where power is difficult to supply, as long as that location has a good view of the open sky.We have several cameras from the Wansview/Galayou/Cinnado/AOQEE family, and all are accessible via the Wansview Cloud app. We already have a couple of the R2 battery cameras at our holiday flat overseas, and they are powered by separate solar panels, and work flawlessly with quick and easy remote access from the UK via the app. This new S1 camera has the benefit of the solar panel being built in, at the expense of being a bit larger.Setup was very easy as we already use the app, and the camera worked fine. One thing, there is a small piece of tape on the front that you’d expect would pull off a protective film. Unfortunately the tape comes off easily and at first I thought the protective film was missing. Several days later I found that the film was still in place but virtually invisible. Now it’s off, the image is slightly better!In the UK this camera will need to be sited carefully to maximise solar charging. We initially installed ours on the garden fence close to some very tall trees and the battery gradually discharged as it was using more power than it was generating. On the open patio however, it charged and remained at or near 100% the whole time, at least in these summer months. Only time will tell if this camera will remain charged during a British winter.Build quality seems good, the charging and SD card slots are covered by a rubber bung and the rest of the camera seems well sealed. Again, only time will tell, but our Galayou (Wansview) R2 battery cameras, with separate solar panels, have been in operation for about a year out in the open on the roof terrace of our holiday home.In summary, a nice design, well built, decent quality and easy to use.Edit - condensation has formed on the inside of the lens, see photo.
