I have a few different drone, this is a nice addition to my collection.This is a very good drone to start with. It is stable in winds up to about 15mph. It only weighs 249g, so does not need to be registered with the FAA. It's smooth and easy to operate. The distance is pretty good and battery life is about 25 minutes.The camera has EIS for image stabilization. The 2 axis gimble makes for smooth 4K videos. The 4K pictures are also very good. It has several quickshots including Follow Me, Circle and more. It also has Smart Return Home in case of lower battery or loss of signal. It lands withing about 10' of the takeoff point, which is on par with other drones. It also has Waypoint flying, which is one of my favorite functions, which allows you to set points on a map, then the drone will connect the dots if you will.I like that the joysticks screw in instead of push in. I think they will last longer.It comes with a nice case, extra props, screwdriver, charging cable, extra joysticks and of course a manual and a quick start guide. The drone folds up for easy portability.It does take an SD card(sold seperately). Flying the drone is easy. First install the app on your phone. Then connect the phone using wifi. Then calibrate the gps which is easy to do. Then it is ready to fly and fly high(leagally 400'). Charging the battery and controller takes long time but same as other drones.

The Deerc D65 is an amazing drone. It handles well and it is very responsive. As you can see the camera is great and very steady in the wind. All in all, a great drone for the buck!

There are so many drones and configurations. I wanted something that would hold in the wind and selected this one. It is very sturdy and handled well in my testing so far. It has one of the best controllers I have seen and it provides a lot of information about the drone even without the app. It is somewhat hard to see once out in the sun. Return to home brought the drone back pretty close to the launch point and it is important to have some clear space around it to allow for this (same as any drone). That it has an SD card for high quality pictures as well as a camera capture mode is pretty nice.What surprised me was that this configuration only came with 1 battery. The listing was ambiguous and when I asked a question via Amazon, it said it did come with a spare battery. Getting a 2nd battery adds additional expense as the 20 minutes of fly time and then hours of charging is disapointing. I contacted support and they offered a URL to order one that was about half the price of the ones through Amazon

*UPDATE #2*If I could give DeeRC a 0 star rating I would!!! So DeeRC contacted me because of my first update. After trying numerous trouble shooting steps over and over again my Drone is still not working. I decided that I wanted my money back but DeeRC refused to give me my full refund back. I spent $350.00 on this Drone, which is A LOT of money for someone like me, and I am out $100.00 because they refused to refund the entire price. I wouldn't normally mind this but this was faulty equipment and I feel I am being punished for their sub quality merchandise. Also they would only give me the refund through PayPal and apparently PayPal has a policy of holding the money you recieve for 21 days before you can even touch it!!! So now I am out my Drone, I can't touch my partial refund for 21 days and DeeRC's solution is I can still fly it but I just won't be able to take pictures or videos with it. In other words it sucks to be you. What is the point of keeping a Drone that you can't take pictures or video with!? That is why I bought this Drone! I wanted to get pictures and video of cool things!!! It is now nothing but a glorified paper weight. I will give their customer service a 4 star rating because they really tried their best to help me but as far as DeeRC is concerned they have lost a customer for life and I would suggest you save your money and buy a better Drone from someone else because this Drone is a piece of junk!*UPDATE*I had to replace my first drone as it malfunctioned and would no longer fly the way it was supposed to. The customer service was wonderful but my replacement drone is now malfunctioning as well...They sent me another drone (possibly refurbished) to replace the first one and I was able to use it a total of 3 times before it now is no longer showing video or taking pictures!!! The above screen shots are what the drone is picturing now...I am really disappointed and I am to the point of getting my money back. I spent a lot of money on this drone and I now wish I had bought a better one even if it had cost more! If the sellers want to make it better and not lose another customer they need to send me a NEW drone or I will get my money back and take my business elsewhere!*Original Post*I LOVE my Drone. It is fairly easy to learn to fly but you must read the directions and make sure you follow them. I do have some issues with the pairing with GPS at times but it usually works itself out. I found that keeping my regular internet on and then pairing the drone with it's internet seems to work to connect to GPS faster. I love the sturdiness of this drone and the pictures it takes are very good! I have had some issues with it loosing signal with the camera the farther away it gets but that is to be expected. I have also noticed it isn't as quiet as I was led to believe in the advertisement but I can live with that. I was also not pleased to hear that the only warranty on it is the manufacturers warranty. On something this expensive I would have been willing to pay a little extra for a better warranty! That being said I have really enjoyed this drone very much and I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about having a good working, sturdy Drone!
