Creality Official Upgrades Ender 3 V3 SE Hotend with 0.4mm 0.6mm Nozzle Replacement, Ender 3 V3 SE Ceramic Hotend Kit, 250mm/s High Speed Heating Block with Silicone Sock

I was having trouble with my extruder skipping and getting very poor print quality. I replaced the extruder stepper motor and extruder, thinking that was the problem since my printer showed that my hot end was getting up to temp. After nothing worked, I figured I would replace the hot end since it was the original hot end from when I bought the printer 2 years ago. WOW! What a difference this hit end has made. Now I get better prints then when my printer was new!. About the product. It is an upgrade hotend for the Ender 3 V3SE and KE. It uses the unicorn nozzles, so don't try using the sprite nozzles, they won't work. The new hotend was an easy installation by just removing the shroud and extruder, the removing the 4 screws holding the fan. The new hot end attaches perfectly to where the original hot end mounted. The electrical connections fit precisely as it was the original hotend. It took me about 10 minutes to take off and replace. I ran the leveling program and then did a level test print. The test came out almost perfect. I did raise the Z offset up by 1. This hotend upgrade is producing fantastic prints. This has solved my extruder skipping problem. Sometimes I just get to tunneled vision and didn't realize how much I had printed with the original hotend and they do wear out after awhile. I am very happy with this hotend upgrade and recommend it to those of you who own an Ender 3 V3 SE or KE.

Please note, this upgrade does not use the standard OEM nozzles, but the Unicorn Quick swap nozzles. They use hardened steel, titanium, and copper on the nozzle with the upgraded heater really did help with the prints and I was able to bump the speed up on some prints. It really does heat up faster and seems easier to maintain temperature. I will be printing ASA CF and ABS, along with PLA CF and PETG, so I like the fact that this nozzle is ready for all of those materials without needing to swap nozzles out. Another benefit is that you don't have to worry about the nozzle being perpendicular to the bed like with the OEM one that needs adjust straight out of the box with the two alignment/securing screws. IMO, well worth the price and easy to swap out if you follow the instructions

To be blunt I bought like three of these and all of them burnt out or quite literally fell apart during a print… upon dismantling my assembly I noticed that the small screws the hold the heating elect to the heat sink didn’t even reach the intended position when fully assembled… bought the basic assembly and haven’t had a issue since

Was having some issues with the included nozzle on my K1 Max, but this nozzle fixed those issues right after installation. Works very well! Installation wasn't the easiest process, and the included instruction guide was a bit small, but there are plenty of videos online that help a lot more. Haven't noticed any clogging through the nozzle after about 2 kgs of filament, so I'm happy with the upgrade!

Easy to install and replacement of the old nozzle. My old nozzle got so clogged up that I had to use a Dremel cutting wheel to remove it. This was any easy replacement as it included all the extra pieces like the heat sink that I had to cut through. If you need a replacement, I found this one to be more than suitable but wouldn't have replaced a working nozzle just because this is a new version.

Well, doesn't fit the k1 SE I bought it for to replace a damaged hot end.Everything about it is compatible except for the thermocouple terminal. They used a different style that can't fit into the clip attachment female side on the SEs PCB.But not really the products fault. It's good quality, has all the tools needed and machined well. Very easy to install. If it actually fits.

Ok I have to say I love this it works great does 300c and has never closed but it does not state it has to have unicorn tips which are much more expensive than normal extruder tips but it prints beautifully and has not clogged and even prints nylon filament great and it does it fast faster than normal tips as unicorn tips are all metal and has larger area for melting so can print and feed faster so if you don't mind paying $12 for 1 tip or I found 3 different a .04+.06+.08 for $19 but it works great I gave 4 because it only says quick swap tips not where other post state requires unicorn tips

My K1 is a later model that already has the red cover hot end, it printed well but the nozzle was ready for replacement. When searching for a new nozzle I saw this kit which included the new unicorn nozzle for not much more cost than a replacement nozzle. Bit the bullet and bought this upgrade kit. Install took about 10 minutes, everything fit perfectly. Fired up the machine with a fresh roll of filament. Ran a self test (input shaper and auto level), max flow test, and a very fast temperature test. After about 3 hours of test prints and a couple very minor tweaks my K1 is printing better than it ever has. This new hot end and the new default profiles in the crealitu slicer are so much better than what the K1 shipped with. It's obviously very strongly inspired by the Bambu products but at a fraction of the cost and honesty better part and upgrade availability. Very happy with my K1 and this unicorn hot end.
