Arrived on time with Yale packaging, fitting the lock gearbox was straight forward, reversing the latch was easy, reversing the night latch was a bit tricky, the instructions is not very clear, but i managed to do it at the end. Only problem i have is that the gearbox doesn't lock from outside, it locks from inside without problems, but from outside it doesn't lock with the key, i will try to contact the seller. Youtube video that shows the installation is missing some details, like reversing the night latch Update: I have changed the lock cylinder and this seems was the problem, it locks perfect from outside and inside without any problems

My door latch was failing and considered getting a tradesman to repair. I thought specialist glazing tools were required to fit the parts. Glad I ordered the product now, it was easy to fit. As good as new now. It took only half an hour. If other door latch fails will order this product again. Of course you should measure your original latch fitting before ordering as there are several variations of the product. Great product.

A good replacement lock. This was used to replace the broken mechanism on a set of double upcv doors, everything is working fine, but need need a decent amount of adjustment to lock correctly (not to be blamed on the lock) Initial impressions not great from the packaging - something that should probably be improved (all parts there, but barely given the damage to the box). Instructions mostly good. Worth following. If using with upc doors, you may also need to adjust the hinges themselves on the door to get a good fit. e.g. You might notice the door closes, but you can't lock the handle - the door might need moving towards the keep. I also needed to do a bit of adjustment with a saw to let the main latch go into the frame.

Used this lock unit to replace very old existing lock on front door. Took a few hours to install but satisfactory product when completed. Hope it lasts as long as the old lock. Recommend that the lock unit is installed by someone who is experienced in DIY.

I followed the measurement instructions (this is vital to get the correct size) and the lock part slotted in to the door and was fitted in seconds! The latch plate was a bit more fiddly to fit but there is a halfway mark that you can use to line up with the lock plate - and adjustable height screws to get it level off the frame. A little bit of adjusting and hey presto! I would highly recommend this replacement locking mechanism.

I must have an old upvc door or something but the lock mechanism fit just fine. But no measurements specified for the size of the keeps which were too big for the upvc frame! Managed to get things working with the old ones. But wasn’t impressed.

Tired two other lock gearboxes which did not fit - screw holes not lining up within the sliding mechanism. Tried the Yale gearbox and it fitted perfectly. Definitely a quality product and door now locks and unlocks as it did 10 years ago. Very happy!

Various options available, get the right spec and it's really very easy to install. Good quality, worked first time. Fair price.
