Work great
Made high to reach areas very easy and we're great grip on light bulbs

Useless. Sucking cup is useless
This is useless. All this is meant to be is a grabber of a bulb on a long pole. The grabber basket just slides around the bulb so you cannot twist it in or out and the suction cup is completely misshapen and sticks to nothing. Probed to be completely useless

Perfect.
Thought of everything! The bulbs I have needed the suction cup. There is a string attached to the suction cup to release it from the bulb when screwed in. Sounds like it wouldn’t matter but for 20+ foot ceilings. Genius. Plus the duster. 5/5

It works great but setup is bothersome
I got this 14ft pole to be able to clean my ceiling fan and window sills. We have some very high ceilings and super difficult to clean the ceiling fan and window sills. I like that I am able to reach those places now but I do find bothersome to setup 11 sections of poles everytime I want to use this tool. I think clamps would make it easy to adjust the length. The tool is lightweight and comes with so many different attachments. The duster attachment is washable and works well, I was able to dust areas I hadn’t been able to get to before.

Just shy of 14"...
2024-08-31. Light bulb changer for high ceilings by Teodute. 14 feet. Baskets. Suction cup. Duster. Aluminum.I ordered this because "I've seen the light" with regards to energy efficient bulbs and have decided to switch all my current bulbs out for LED ones. I ordered the replacement bulbs and began changing them throughout the kitchen, but when I got the the steps leading to the 2nd floor, I realized I was not able to reach. and I don't have a ladder that can accommodate stairs! Not want to own a giant heavy ladder I'll rarely use, I thought this would be a great alternative. When trying to replace my bulbs, I found out something else, I haven't dusted these recessed lights, EVER. With the accumulated dust on the bulb, the suction cup didn't adhere to it so well and I had a difficult time with the suction. I used the provided duster cloth to clean the bulb, but the dust appeared to be caked on and I still wasn't able to get the suction cup adhered to the bulb securely. In the end, I just added some extra light pressure and twisted. Luckily for me, it was enough and I was able to feel the bulb loosen. Knowing this, I then used some adhesive hook and loop fasteners (aka the branded Velcro®). I first used the suction cup to stick one side of the hook and loop strip onto the bulb, then I stuck the other side on the suction cup. The hook and loop fastener held up like a charm! I was able to safely remove the bulbs without risk of them falling off the suction cup while taking them down. Once I got all the bulbs off, I removed the hook and loop strips before putting the new bulbs in. When I put up the new LED bulbs, I cleaned and dried the suction cup and it attached to the new bulbs with ease. I had no problems putting in the new bulbs and the string was long enough to allow me to release the suction from the bulb easily and effortlessly. As for the spring cups, they work, but I'm not a fan. In testing them with incandescent bulbs, I found that they don't stretch very easy, and the metal coil can give off a scratchy sound that just doesn't bode well with me. I think if they could engineer using silicone, these cups could be just as effective if not more. The poles each measure 16½ inches long, with 1½ inches recessed into each other providing a total of 15 inches of extension. There are 11 pieces in total providing you with about 165 inches of reach. This equates to 13' 8", which is a little less than the advertised 14 feet. It didn't make a difference for me, my highest point is is about 15 feet and as short as I am at 5'8" I didn't need all the pieces to reach them. But I thought this was still worthy to note for those that need the precision in their calculations. The other notable I have with these poles is that they're attached together by push button spring clips. While I do prefer this over telescoping poles when they're longer than 6 feet. they are also not as convenient as it will take longer to put together and take apart for storage. I also really like that the thread is your standard ¾ inch, so you can use this extension pole with other things you may already have.Speaking of storage, this kit comes with a drawstring bag that fits everything perfectly for storage. The bag is made of polyester nylon.Overall, it was a bit more of an ordeal than I expected with the caked on dust, but in the end, it worked out. I did try to remove the bulbs again after putting them in and they came out without issue. The suction cup even stuck! But I still have some reservations with the suction cup despite my success. I think for ultimate piece of mind, this could be improved with a safety net. If there was a wide cone shaped net attachment that could be installed securely to the pole, it would catch the bulb if it ever released accidently from the suction cup. This would be a huge safety improvement for anyone using it.
