Rope protector sounds better in theory than it is in real life. True it protects your rope when jumping on hard surfaces, like concrete. Downside is that it changes the weight and balance of the rope slightly, causing more trips and a less fluid swing of the rope. Also the protector tends to move on the rope when in use....sometimes the protector is not even hitting the ground. A fix is to wrap a thin layer of tape around each end of the protector to keep it from sliding. Not sure if I’d buy again. I’ll see if I can get used to it.

The rope itself was definitely sturdy but the screw came flying off after about 10 hours of use. It hit me hard in my hand and I couldn't find it. Guess that's why it came with a replacement screw.

A lot of jump ropes claim to be speed ropes but they're really not. This one is a true speed rope. I love to workout and I wanted to add jumping rope to my routine. I purchased this one and I was pleasantly surprised. The rope is thin but seems durable. It's easy to adjust and you can achieve good speed as you build momentum when using it. This product has a great price and it comes with an additional rope and screws, so it's like you get two jump ropes for the price of one. I am a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend this product.

the concrete protector is a separate about foot long tube that you have to thread the jump rope cable through. It's pretty easy to get the rope through. However, once outside and using the rope outside, the concrete protection sleeve causes the rope to act erratically and causes a tiny weighted gap to jump through. I feel the concrete protection should be almost the entire length of the rope. The advertising is misleading. I do not recommend putting the concrete protection on as it slides around and makes the rope not smooth and causes the functionality of the rope to hinder. I have been roping for years and own multiple ropes from beaded, to weighted, to cable, to pvc and they all work great except for this rope.

I love the speed and light weight of this. The “concrete protector isn’t great because it’s just a tube of plastic or rubber and it wore off pretty quickly. I wore through that, then the rope in about a week. I’m on my second rope and I had to add silicone because I wore through the coating on that too. I just don’t have a place to jump rope that isn’t concrete.

Great rope! The concrete guard definitely added some additional weight to the rope when spinning (rope doesn’t seem as fast due to the slight added weight, which would be expected)...but just took some adjustment / getting used to. So far I’ve had this rope for about 5 months and it’s holding up well! Just to be clear, I don’t speed rope every workout however I do use it weekly doing mostly double unders outside. I’ve been very pleased!

I got a couple of ropes and all sorts of replacement parts with mine. Only thing I wouldn't recommend is the concrete protector, it made it impossible for me to continuously jump.

Quick return and hassle free return. I am a huge fan of their sweatbands but the jump rope is lacking in durability and quality. First time i stepped on it the nuts flew off.

I was not happy with the certain details of the rope, like weight, concrete protector, handle material etc. The seller was able to address the concern with a refund.

The rubber piece isn’t going in so easily, i thought it would come with it already attached since its so small and rubber with rubber is a bitch
