Wise U15-33 Dental Sickle Scaler, Anterior, Towner Jacquette U15/33

I was iffy about buying this product due to some reviews. But this thing is super sharp and easily gets off the tar tar the vet left behind on my dog. I was thrilled!

This is for the teeth only. It's thin and pointed and can get into the tiniest of spaces. Note that it's too sharp for the gums though. Can cut like a little razor.

Osung compared to Wise:Wise is exceptionally sharp out of the box. Construction is lighter than Osung, while not compromising too much on overall quality.

Super sharp and must be use with care. My old dental pick is over 20 years old and long ago it lost it's sharpness. This one is so sharp it is like scraping your teeth with the corner of a razor blade. You get the same scraping you hear when you visit the dentist.Thank you to the guy that wrote a wonderful and honest review. Main thing is - don't over use it. I only use it about once a week or less. Also, ease in to it don't get really aggressive and it is NOT a substitute for carrying a portable travel toothbrush to use a work.Picture: New pick on top and my old worn-out pic on the bottom with one end snapped off.

Just like I hoped, good quality, feels good.

This is my second time buying this product. The first time was maybe a decade ago and it served its purpose through all those years. I repurchased this item because the sharpness definitely dulled but was still effective. I just missed the super sharp edge straight out of the box and I thought why not get a new one. If you are thinking of being your own dental hygenist, then this is the product for you. Just be careful with its use as it is really sharp and you may poke yourself by accident if you are not precise with it.

Ok, this dental instrument is very sharp and sturdy. Totally worth the money. My dog's teeth are tartar free. Yay!!
