These 20 Poachies Egg‑Poaching Bags have completely changed my breakfast routine for the better!
These 20 Poachies Egg‑Poaching Bags have completely changed my breakfast routine for the better! They make perfectly shaped, mess‑free poached eggs every time, no sticking, no fuss, and no need for tricky swirling or vinegar in the water. Just place the egg in the bag, dip it in gently boiling water, and in minutes, you have beautifully cooked, restaurant‑style poached eggs. The bags are sturdy, reusable, and easy to clean, which makes them so much more practical than traditional methods. The pack of 20 means I always have extras ready to go, whether I’m cooking for myself, my family, or guests. Ideal for brunch lovers, busy mornings, or anyone who wants consistent results without the stress. Highly recommended for easy, perfect poached eggs!

Good method for poaching your eggs
Great alternative to simply poaching eggs in a pan, keeps things cleaner and they are simple to use, open up, pop the poachie into a mug to hold whilst you crack the egg in then simply put into pan of boiling water and wait the desired amount of time for perfect poached egg. They seem to give consistent results unlike the swirling water in a pan method. Cost is not too expensive as you get 20 pouches in each pack.

Eggs made easy
Fabulous little bags that turn out perfect poached eggs every time. A tip though- four minutes is long enough to give solid white and runny yoke.

Poachies 👍
After many attempts making poached eggs..most failed…till I came across Poachies👍 just have to get the timing right to how I want the runny yolk (Personal choice) pan doesn’t get as messy so cleaning is easier…when placing the poachie into the simmering water give it a minute or so then move the poachie slightly to make sure it hasn’t stuck to the bottom, Poachies are a winner for me 😊

Not sure about these.......
I bought these on the recommendation of someone on a cookery forum, and I am really not sure about them. On the positive side, they make neat poached eggs, but the whole process seems a bit fiddly and wasteful (the bags are disposable and can only be used once). You have to prop the bag up in a cup with the opening, well open, break the egg into the bag and immediately (and I mean immediately) drop the bag carefully into boiling water. If you dont do it immediately, the egg white soaks through the bag and makes a mess. Once cooked, you shake/gently squeeze or massage the egg out of the bag. The resulting poached egg might be perfectly cooked, but just doesnt look right - it is sort of flattened, a bit like a fried egg though not as thin. For me a perfect poached egg should be a plump little bauble of joy, not something that looks like a small flattened breast implant. Update: I have given up using these bags for poaching eggs, as I just don't like the look of the results. I have however found a new use for them - they are excellent for making a bouquet garnei For those non-chefs out there, this is a bundle of herbs tied up with string that you drop into a saucepan while cooking various dishes. The idea being that as they are tied together, they are easy to find and remove later. Well these little bags make a simple alternative - just put the herbs of your choice into the bag, fold the top over and secure with a toothpick or cocktail stick - works brilliantly.

Very good, but not cheap
These things work very well - much easier than using cling film, for example. About the only criticism I could have is that it's easy to get water on top of the egg which will end up on your plate if you don't remember to drain it off first. My only other gripe is the price - each bag works out at about 15p, which when you're just having a couple of eggs on toast is a big percentage of the overall price. They are, basically, just shaped coffee filters. To compare, I actually made some poached eggs using coffee filters and it worked just as well. Given that such filters are a penny or so each, it makes it hard to swallow the cost of a poachie. Don't get me wrong - I'm impressed with the bags and they are the right shape to make them very easy to use...but with very little additional effort, you'll get the same end result with a coffee filter, which you can also use to make coffee. Well recommended, but too expensive to be a regular purchase.

20 Poachies
These are good for busy people who are trying to eat healthily. I like a poached egg with avocado.

Simpatici i sacchetti si possono fare più uova in camicia insieme e sono davvero di facile utilizzo, c'è un video su youtube che mostra in maniera molto esaustiva come usare i sacchetti. Li ricomprerò di sicuro

Can't live without them. No poachies = no poached eggs

Après avoir essayé toute une série d’ustensiles plus ou moins chers, ce sac a pocher tout simple est vraiment la meilleure solution !

Wollte immer schon mal pochierte Eier versuchen.

I really liked these. I typically poach eggs when making eggs Benedict. For me, its always a struggle to make hollandaise, biscuits, and poach eggs at the same time. These make the poaching process considerably easier as you can prep them and then dump them in with little to no "watching". Poaching eggs the old fashioned way definitely produces a higher quality and more aesthetic result but I didn't expect this to compare. A few people have complained that they're difficult to use and I'll admit that they could be easier. But when compared to old fashioned poaching, it definitely simplifies the process and yields better results than a poaching pan (at least for me).
