Why did you pick this product vs others?:It is actually from Hungary where this Paprika is grown. It turned out to be a very different paprika from American brands. It has a very pleasant taste and I will be ordering it again in the future. The pack contains enough for our family of two for about a year, so it will be awhile, but I will probably also share some with friends who enjoy using new cooking products.

I had the same paprika in a ca n that lasted for years. I needed it right away so I ordered this . There was a dusting of paprika ina larger bag with another item i had ordered. I transfered the paprika toa selaled container.Love the paprika!

I don't think I had ever bought authentic Hungarian paprika before this one. It was always "Hungarian-style" or "Szeged-style" paprika from various store brands or big-name herb/spice brands. This one out of the bag just surprised me by its different color - it's tomato-ish rather than scarlet. The taste and the smell are just as warm as the color, warmer than the "-style" ones. I tried it in my shakshuka, and I do think the flavors are different from my usual ones! I really like it. Wish I had bought authentic Hungarian paprika earlier.
