These toothbrushes are really good quality and clean teeth well. The zigzag bristles reach all the little areas easily, and the medium firmness is just right — not too soft, not too hard. Everyday use: Simple, reliable, and does exactly what it should. No batteries, no apps, no drama. Overall, its a genuinely great everyday toothbrush. Soft but firm at the same time, comfortable, and effective which is really all I ask of a toothbrush.

After reading the reviews I was expecting this brush to take the skin off of my teeth!! I have had harder brushes in my mouth. Its a firm brush but its not as firm as I wanted. I just want a hard toothbrush to do my teeth at bedtime. I use an electric one in the morning. I can't get any firmer ones for that. I had composite bonding done and my dentist told me that my electric one was only useful once a day. To keep them pristine I will search for a firmer one. If that fails then it's the yard brush for me. I would say this is on the firmer side of medium. I gave it 4 stars 🌟 it's good value for money.

Finally, a toothbrush that isn’t scared of my teeth. I bought the Colgate Zigzag because my old brush was basically giving my mouth gentle encouragement rather than actually cleaning anything. This one? Nah. It dives in like it’s on a mission. The zigzag bristles reach every angle — top, bottom, corners I didn’t even know existed — like a tiny parkour expert made of plastic. After the first brush my teeth felt so smooth I nearly slipped off them. Medium bristles hit that sweet spot between “too soft to matter” and “dentist would shout at me.” It’s firm enough to get the job done, but not so firm that you look like you’ve been fighting your own toothbrush in the mirror. Grip is solid too. Even half-asleep at 6am with toothpaste foam everywhere, this thing stays in your hand like it’s clinging on for dear life. Since using it: My teeth feel cleaner My breath smells less like morning regret My dentist would actually be proud My bathroom mirror has fewer toothpaste explosions Five stars. If brushing your teeth felt like a sport, this would be the pro-level equipment.

Buy this if you like a very firm brush, I only use this once a week for a good scrub (which is what I bought it for), a bit too harsh on my gums for everyday use. Expected decent quality, grippy latex handle, standard size & configuration. It's a toothbrush, what else if there to say!

Tested with blue plaque tab, & noticed considerable plaque buildup compared to other manual toothbrush. Snug fit towards wisdom teeth, limits bristle mobility, reach and clean. Also struggles on curve at the back of 4 front teeth.
