Old India Habanero Chilli Dried Whole 100 g

I love these chillies they have a lively Smokey flavour and was surprised about the size of the bag when they arrived. A year later I’m still getting through them, great in curries, soups ( add one to a soup for a little bite).

rehydrate well, with a lovely flavour and quite a bite. Spice up a chilli / curry nicely, and can get pretty hot if the fruit bursts on cooking. I like heat, so it works for me, my wife less so - so I tend to part cook the fruit until soft, take them out until the dish is nearly cooked, and pop them back in to fully soften - but not burst.

Just superb, bringing a deep fruity flavour, with well balanced heat. For a dish like vindaloo, I think two chillis per kilo of meat.

Plenty of heat in these babies, and also plenty of that distinctive Habanero flavour. One per person of these in a sauce/curry/stir-fry is plenty.
