A top sturdy item , easy to dig loose soil up with and scoop earth into pots with.
pretty good duo of items sold together . yes its pricey but you know it will last you.its not gong to rust easily with normal use . mainly due to the lack of iron in the metal .dry off after use and these items will last a long time . years and years .is it lightweight ? your putting soil through it it's a slightly heavy solid construction .which is what you want . its just not a cheap throwaway item .no assembly neededgreat functionalitywell worth the purchase and if stored and clean it will not rot like a cheap copy .the shape of the scoop is a game changer when 3 ,4, 5 and 6 inch potting plants.easy to dig loose soil up with and scoop with .

Did the job perfectly
Doe the job of sifting gravel, stones and soil perfectly well. Robust and will hopefully last a very long time

Not quite as good as it could be.
I thought this riddle was going to be the complete answer to all my soil issues, but alas it does not perform excellently with all soil types.Firstly, it is built well and very sturdy and looks to last for many years and with moist moist soil it works very well. This type of soil often blocks plastic or mesh type riddles which then require effort to keep the filter screen clear.Where this riddle fails is with dry compacted lumps of soil. The filter screen is a completely flat sheet of steel with holes cut in it, and what happens is that the hard lumps of soil simply skid across the surface and do not get trapped into any of the holes. With a mesh riddle and to some extent a plastic one, they operate a little like a cheese grater, with the lumps of soil being trapped by the edges of the grid allowing the lumps to be gradually broken down as the soil is moved around the riddle. The only way to break down hard lumps of soil in this riddle is to crush them with vertical pressure before swirling around the riddle. However if the holes in the filter screen were modified to have a raised edge I'm sure it would be enough to correct this shortcoming. I might try twisting the edges of a few holes with a pair of pliers to see if this suggestion works as I imagine.

Shake, rattle n’roll
Perfect tool for sorting out soil from stones and roots you don’t want. Really strong and well made, like any garden equipment - clean it well after use and store in a dry place and it should last a lifetime.Obviously don’t try and sieve out wet soil, you’ll just end up with a horrible mess, a tool and job for the sunshine.

Relatively cheap but decent sieve.
Well packaged, Great Brand does what it's supposed to do.

Very good

Only OK
Nice and shiny but only ok performance, it's a bit small, the wire type mesh one is better.

You will wear out before it does !
Sturdy ?, Value for money ? Yes to both.Easy to use ? ..... Not necessarilySimple to use ? YesI won't go into detail about what I used this for , suffice to say it survived riddling through several TONS of soil and is still gleaming and unblemished as I speak !Indeed the gardening gloves I used during the process didn't survive and I had to buy more !
