As an actor, I self-tape auditions regularly, and for the longest time I was using a bedsheet as a backdrop. It doesn’t create distracting reflections from my lights, so my videos look much cleaner and more professional. It comes on a roll, so setup is incredibly easy—just unroll the amount you need and you’re ready to film. What really sold me is that you never have to deal with wrinkles. If you’re considering one of those fabric backdrops, don’t waste your money. No matter what you do, you’ll eventually be fighting wrinkles, and they absolutely show up on camera. Trying to iron or steam a huge piece of fabric every time you need to film gets old fast. This paper backdrop completely eliminates that problem. My auditions look so much better, it was reasonably priced, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Budget friendly option if you purchase the 4 ft roll for product photos. The paper feels nice and is a nice color. Comes in a thick box that can be used to store and protect the roll.
