I had to return this item as it had many scratches on the stainless steele.

Rental house with huge gap behind the stove. This was a cheap but effective way to avoid having stuff fall behind it. I attached it to the sides of the cabinets leaving just enough space to slide it behind the screw. Basically it looks like I attached it to the wall behind the stove. Then I just slid the stove back into place to meet it. I measured to make sure that when I slid the stove back, the edge of the gap filler slid right into the groove on the back of the stove. This way, I can easily slide the stove out to clean if needed and the gap filler would still be hanging there on the cabinet/wall. The silicone side fillers were fine. Nothing special but they do the job.
